Whenever you do so, OINP must be notified with regard to changes to your personal information or circumstances as detailed on your Nominee Application Form. You must complete the Change of Personal Information Form. This form can be downloaded from the OINP website http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPFORMS.html. Completed forms should be submitted to OINP by mail, fax or email attachment. Additionally, you will have to update your Express Entry profile as well. You can email the form to ontarionominee@ontario.ca and expressentry@ontario.ca

Thanks @Stanlee for the detailed info.

Hi Guys, i just happened to visit this link provided by Stanlee which is accurate. http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPFORMS.html. on this link there is a change in personal information form link which is http://www.forms.ssb.gov.on.ca/mbs/ssb/forms/ssbforms.nsf/GetFileAttach/005-0161E~1/$File/0161E.pdf, unfortunately it gives 502 error. Any clues? Any other alternatives to download this form?

Hello everyone!! I am a silent follower of this thread form last 6 months. I received my AOR on 12th July and today I got this email when I enquired about my present file status:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your inquiry.

Please be advised that our records indicate the file referenced is at the second stage of processing, pending review by an Investigator Analyst.

If there is any further information needed for your application, you will be contacted by our officer.

Please note that if you are in Canada, it is your responsibility to remain in legal status throughout the time while your application is being processed by our program.

Thank you for your patience.

Sincerely

Hi Friends,

I am very glad to receive my OINP nomination today (Sep 14th). I am a CEC inland applicant under Human Capital Stream, application received on Jan 20th, 2016 and AOR received in Jun 6th, 2016. My work permit expired in Jun, 2016 and I was not qualified for BOWP so I had to resign and wait in Canada with Visitor Record.

The waiting is long, frustrating and depressing, especially with no income and lots of uncertainty......but it's all worth the wait! I am glad that I kept a positive mood and managed to do the things I didn't have time to do (reading, vacation, workout...)while I was waiting. The key is to keep positive, and always have hope!

I wish everyone here the best and I believe your nominations are all on the way. Cheers!

Very frustrated after a phone call from OINP today.

I am currently a visitor in Canada, staying with family. I am from a visa exempt country, so just have eTA.

The person told me that it could be several months before they would get to my pack, and that then I would receive phone calls for extra info etc, and with the volume of applications, he did not seem hopeful of me getting nomination.

He advised that my best bet would be to get a work permit, which would enable me to get ITA through EE and then I could just withdraw from OINP.

However, he then said that I wouldn't be able to apply for or interview for jobs on a visitor visa (which I don't have, as I am visa exempt).

So my question is this - I have applied for several jobs from home, and had many responses that they would like to interview me when I am in Canada. How is one supposed to get a job and hence a work permit, if you cannot interview for jobs when you are here, but your potential employers want to meet you face to face?

I got a call from OINP today for additional documents:

My WP expired on 28th June, 2016. I applied for paper application. And no reply from WP extension:

OINP asked me below things to submit:

1) CRA notice of assessment 2015
and
2) Please provide a copy of your valid Work Permit/status document or proof of application to IRCC to extend your authorization to remain in Canada. The Work Permit provided in support of your application expired on June 28, 2016

What should I submit in WP extension support document?

CRS: 451
OINP App Received: 23rd February, 2016
AOR and phone call : 18th June, 2016
Additional doc submitted: 20th June, 2016
Second phone call: 14th September, 2016 (Asked few more docs)
Additional doc request email: 14th September, 2016

@ canadaexp please respond. Did u recev any calls or emails before nomination yesterday? I want to prepare in advance. Thanks

You are allowed to apply for and be interviewed for jobs while you are visiting Canada.

You can put explanation letter stating that you have applied for an extension(put some supporting docs receipt etc.) Also if you are on Visitor visa, send the copy of visa.

Thanks Devnill - that's really reassuring to ready. He told me I had put my whole application in jeopardy by going for 1 interview!

I received call from OINP officer in June when my work permit was about to expire. No calls or emails after that.

While you cannot start working without a work permit, you can definitely, IMO, apply for jobs or be interviewed when you are visiting Canada.
