You could be on "implied status" and continue to work for your current employer, given that you have notified CIC. (Call CIC and ask when your Work Permit is really expiring soon.

Hello Expert,

I don't know if this is the correct place or not but I have a question regarding Nomination.

I received my AOR on 8th of August, 2016. I have no clue till when I can expect Nomination. Is there any thread about this which maintain list of people received Nomination after AOR?

Please suggest.

Thanks,

Our latest estimation for FSW applications (from different members in this thread) is to be March 2017 - July 2017 for getting the OINP Nominations

We shall expect PR landing no earlier than the summer of 2018.

Maybe some OINP applicants would have lost interest in getting Canadian PR by that time. ;D

Anyone tried walking in the office and ask questions regarding application status?
I sent out my application package on Jan 18th and I received the 'pre-aor' email around early July. I have been trying to contact the OINP office through email and fax to get my file number recently. But they haven't get back to me. Nor have they sent me a rejection email. ( i'm pretty confident that I sent them everything required)
Getting a bit nervous these days.. Since everyone is getting AOR's.

Hello Members,

I have a question,I am a bit concerned about, has everyone who's DD was received by 15 -17th July received the encashment receipt.
Also, has everyone without a encashment receipt has recieved a mail that your file has been moved to next stage.

Please advice.
1. Check with your bank.
2. Wait for another week. If you still don't get then call them.
3. If still no satisfied answer then send fax and write an email afterwards.

Implied status applies only after you have a bridging work permit or applied for federal pr. Right? I have the aor for Ontario and not sure about the nomination.

I tried calling both numbers provided on their website. But they always transfer me to the automatic voice mail system.
Which number shall I call then?

I try from my UK number and after 4-5 tries I get hold on operator.

Friends: Jan thread should have been on top always at this juncture with AOR's updates daily.

We are seeing no or few AOR's on daily basis. AT this pace, the AOR's until 9th May would take months. I wish I am wrong .. :'( :'( :'(

Agreed. OINP is making life miserable, specially for the candidates whose WP is expiring. It is understood that they have a large backlog but it was their decision in first place to send NOIs to these many candidates. In addition to that there is no transparency or visibility about AOR or nomination timelines which is virtually freezing the life of applicants in terms of taking any big decisions. Moreover, who knows if they would start to reject the applications for trivial reasons, when pressure will be built on them. By any means, I dont want to demotivate anyone but just saying a brutal reality.

PrettyCanada: None of us should consider it to be demotivation ..the facts, figures are evident to reflect the current status of AOR's/NOM's

What is the next step after AOR?

I saw one reply that after AOR it may take 6 to 9 months to get nomination, and another year for PR issue. Is it the normal situation for both CEC and FSW ?

Will we follow up the post-AOR status in this thread ? or anyone could suggest how we connect to follow up till PR received.

Cheers
Tina
