AOR just means completeness check with the checklist that you have submitted the required Documents.
The Documents are checked in second phase by Investigator/Analyst and if required they send additional document request, which you have to send them.
The decision phase is the last phase after which you get nomination.

Good question SBanga and a great and valuable answer from you bestofluck. Thanks and +1 to both of you!

OINP office has reviewed and accepted my application.

Waiting for AOR :( Seriously, they are getting on our nerves.

As CIC stopped issuing ITAs after FEB 2016 so may be once they will done with AORs of FEB applicants, then hopefully process will speed up little bit.

Chill out. You will get it. It's Friday after all. No AOR today, most likely.

Hi Folks,

I received the following from OINP today, does this mean AOR is on the way?

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for applying to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program.

We have reviewed and accepted your application. We have now put your application in the queue for further processing.

You will receive an acknowledgement letter that will include your file tracking number.

Please note that processing is taking longer than usual due the large number of applications in our inventory.

The OINP appreciates your patience as it works diligently to process the high-volume of applications received.

Please note that if you are in Canada, it is your responsibility to remain in legal status throughout the time while your application is being processed by our program.

Do NOT submit any documentation to this office until you have received a formal acknowledgement letter from PNP advising that your application has been accepted for processing and advising you of your assigned file number.

File submitted on 25 Jan.

Thanks guys.

Congrats to everyone who got the AOR.

@Sunil, finally.. Congrats. So they made this mistake with almost half the 15th jan applicants. Who is your case office btw?

@skdubai and @PR_FOR_CA ... this is the response I got from OINP.. does it means I missed AOR??

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your inquiry.

Please be advised that our records indicate the file referenced is at the second stage of processing, pending review by an Investigator Analyst.

If there is any further information needed for your application, you will be contacted by our officer.

Please note that if you are in Canada, it is your responsibility to remain in legal status throughout the time while your application is being processed by our program.

Thank you for your patience.

Sincerely,

It means that your AOR has already been issued. Reply ti that saying my aor may have been sent to the wrong address, please resend it to this address..

So my new DD reached day before yesterday and today I got mail of payment confirmation! How cool... Happy with the speed :-)

My documents were sent Jan 21st, no AOR yet (only that "pre-aor" email).
Should I contact OINP or should I give it a few more days? I'm worried my email may have been "lost" like it's happened to a few folks here and if they are requesting a new DD I may have missed it.

Did they respond you for email?. I did not get any response for mine. I think they sent AOR to different email

I am in the exact same boat as you, same app date, same AOR reply, sent the fax/email to them, still no reply yet.

In your case, I would give it a few days. They seem to be working on the 21 to 22 applications now.. So wait for a bit and then follow up..
