An update regarding my application

I have received DD encashement receipt with my AOR e-mail, however OINP sent a follow up e-mail stating they were not able to process payment (I guess the rushed to issue the receipt before trying to encash the DD).

Just sent the new DD today, let's see how it goes.

Hi Peeps,

Got my AOR today after 6 months and 1 week. I had sent them an email for status enquiry only for me to get the AOR 12hrs later. Guess it was a coincidence. Also note I got the DD receipt too. Guess this was becos my DD was issued in canada, obtained by a friend. My timeline follows:

OINP PT: 11 December, 2015 - FSW
Documents received by OINP: 20 January 2016
AOR: 28 July, 2016
FILE NUMBER : XHSW-16038XX - (T-AP)
Nomination: ? Hope soon

I sent an email asking for a status check two weeks ago but got no response. Sent another email yesterday and got a reply with the "pre AOR" response...

"Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for applying to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program.

We have reviewed and accepted your application. We have now put your application in the queue for further processing.

You will receive an acknowledgement letter that will include your file tracking number. [...etc]"

Now just waiting for the actual AOR.

Received my AOR

20th Jan

Looks like not many applications between 19th and 20th

If someone works 24 hours part time for 30 consecutive months with the same company in India and it is a paid job
Does it count as an equivalent 1 year full time experience

Is there anyone who is in the same scenario

Does AOR mean that all documents are correct and they dont need anymore documents/wont be doing anymore checks and its just a matter of time we will get nomination or does it mean that they will start scrutinising your documents from this point forward ?

AOR just means completeness check with the checklist that you have submitted the required Documents.
The Documents are checked in second phase by Investigator/Analyst and if required they send additional document request, which you have to send them.
The decision phase is the last phase after which you get nomination.

@Sunil, finally.. Congrats. So they made this mistake with almost half the 15th jan applicants. Who is your case office btw?

They say so but I dont think they will send any mails. But they will send additional Doc request if they want some documents.
