Let them work.. the more you call the slower they will process our apps
Can you imagine the phone ringing all day long and having to go through tones of paper work?

What has the Operator to do with processing officers? Ever heard of an institution without a telephone operator? How can it slow down the process. Its only their strategy not to disclose details on phone which is a fair policy. It is not an Air ticket inquiry they have to reply to your status every time.

+1 from me.... logical

173 days since application to OINP. My DD is expiring today. Sometimes it becomes too much of a wait. Putting up so many decisions on hold and wait for some communication from OINP.

Everyone is asked to send new DD. You will soon get AOr as they are processing 12th -13th January applicants.

Yea i know, hope to have it soon.........

Hi, I finally received my AOR last night.

My details are as follows
FSW applicant
App sent: 7th January
App received: 8th January
AOR received: 11th July
File No : XHSW-16032XX

Please update my entry in the list and change my app recd date. I'm a silent follower on this group but I must say that the wait would have been extremely excruciatingly long if this forum wasn't there. Not knowing what's happening on your application front is torturous, especially when just a completion check takes 6 months. Hopefully we wont have to wait for another 6 months for the nominations to come through.

I applied through a lawyer and in mid-December itself they mentioned that OINP is going to start requesting for the ECA report to be sent to them directly so I sent that at the time of my application itself. Also no DD expiring issue as my draft was issued from a Canadian Bank(through my lawyer) and I believe they have a 1 year validity.

Thanks guys for all your support. Hope we all see nominations sooner than we received the AOR's.

Congrats... and thanks for the update. Sheet updated.

Relax.. only one 12th Jan guy got it. It could be that he thought it was 12th Jan, but they might have got it on the 8th. As far as I can see, they are firmly at 8th still. Check out the sheet in my signature. you will get it this week for sure..

Ya.. From the sheet we come to know that still one of the applicant from 8th Jan CEC is yet to hear the status.
All the applicants of 11 Jan are yet to get the AOR.
Out of 4 applicants of 12 Jan just 2 have received their AOR.

Seems good that CIC is working and issuing multiple AOR's on a daily basis....
We all will get to know the status very soon...
We waited for almost 6 months.. we can wait for few more days now
Fingers crossed

actually, one more thing to note is that a lot of people on the sheet are not really active on the forum. Many of the pre 8th Jan applicants might already have got the AOR, just haven't let us know..

Congrats!!! to all applicants who received their AOR.. :)

I'm 7th January applicant nothing yet
