Just got off the phone with a nice lady from oinp, I asked about my application she replied that it's still under review. I told her my dd is expiring by next week, she informed me that I'll receive an email regarding that if it does expire before they finish the review. I pushed for a definitive answer regarding may aor if i should expect anything... She just mentioned that my application is still under review "that's a good thing" :

Called OINP 15th time and was lucky enough to get through finally. Enquired about my 29 jan application and was told it's still under review for completeness which means they haven't reached the batch post 28 th jan yet. Hope for the best... Too worried now.... Don't know what comes out

I received my AOR today. I called OINP office to check the status and they had sent AOR actually on 5th July. However, they marked on wrong email id.

The staff on call confirmed the email address again and sent on correct ID.

App submission date: 6th Jan, 2016
AOR: 5th July.

Hi Guys,

I tried to call OINP today for the first time and unfortunately I could not get hold on them but i would like to ask you a question may be it would sound stupid but when i selected option to know my status they played their automated message which said that "You can request for status update only after the 90 days of your acknowledgment letter.".

Does this mean that only after 90 days of receiving AOR we are technically suppose to start following up with OINP?

Was this the same since the beginning on OINP or they changed it because of the delay in file processing?

I just called ONIP and I got it through after 23 time. However, I found an interesting thing when I asked them about my application status update. He said, my application is passed to through 1 stage of review which is an application completeness check and there will be other steps to complete the process. So getting an AOR is an multi step process, and any thing can happen before AOR is received.
