What exactly is an PFL? Should FSW candidates expect one too?

It's what you get before they reject you, it's your final chance to address their concerns and no, no one should be expecting a PFL, unless they did something really stupid or illegal like intentionally lying or omitting important information in their application forms.

You and I have almost the same timelines and it seems the same officer. I am a Jan 27th applicant, AOR on Aug 2nd, ADR on Nov 26th and profile expires on Dec. 12th. Seems like the files are stuck to each other and moving together.
Hope to get the nomination soon!!

Hi,

I need your feedback regarding a query I have. I had completed my most recent job last Friday. I had send an email to ontarionominee@ontario.ca and ExpressEntry@ontario.ca to give an update about my application; And then I called the ONIP office to check if they have received my email. I spoke with a lady operator and confirmed that they did received my email. Lady operator told that she will forward my email update to my designated case officer.
I have two questions and I need everyone's feedback
1. Have I done correct by letting ONIP and ExpressEntry know that I have completed my most recent job, just to give an update? I did in order to not to hide and lie to the immigration officer.
2. Will it be considered as negative point, because when I submitted my additional document request a week ago (even got confirmed on the phone, they did received my Add Docs), I was working in my recent job and I did showed that I am currently employed. But now I am done with my recent job and I had updated them via email, will it affect my application process. I am worried as it may not hinder my process. Also I am still waiting for the nomination.

Eveyone's feedback is much appreciated here.

Nope , no idea. I submitted my additional request documents about a week ago so I am hoping soon. I have seen in this thread some FSW Outland have received their nomination. We just have to be patient

Don't worry about a PFL yet I think we are still too early in the process for Jan people to get PFLs, there are approx. 180 candidates in Jan and only 50 have been nominated so far... If by the time we get to 90 noms in Jan you still haven't got anything from OINP then give them a call.

Is it at all possible that your agent did get an ADR, replied to it and forgot to tell you?

Thats not possible because I am checking with them on daily basis and finally asked them to put mail for status update.
The anxiety is more since I do not have access to my details and got to wait for my agent for almost everything. Waiting eagerly for some update.

If you're ready for ITA then I recommend you accept your NoM. If there is a draw on the 14th then you'll get your ITA and so long as you accept it your profile should no longer expire...
