Thanks! I got a notification from IRCC first, had to accept or deny the nomination. OINP updated probably 12 hours later and I got my nomination letter and certificate then.

I have an issue to clarify. My IRCC profile expires 26th May (next week). At this juncture, I am confused on whether to wait for it to expire or simply delete and reapply. Can someone advise me?

Suggest u to create a new profile and quicly notify ONIP regarding this change. They will transfer the application to the new profile. Good luck.

I had the same issue. you need to create the new profile after your profile expires as you will have to write an email to OINP asking them to update the information of the new EE profile in your OINP profile. You will also have to provide them with the expiry email as the proof along with the new EE profile notification that you get so that they can update your information in their system.
Please Do not create a new profile till the time you dont have the expiry email of the previous one.
In case of any doubt send them an email, they usually reply within 2 working days.
