OINP Intention to Reside in Ontario

Hi Guys,

Doing my OINP application now and just want to ask about this Intention to Reside in Ontario section. What kind of stuff should I put on in this section? No siblings/relatives living in Ontario. Visited Toronto and Ottawa once as a tourist a couple years ago. Studies and worked in the US for 8 years now but no exp in Canada.

I don't mean to copy your guys work just want to pick up a few legitimate ideas and reasons. Don't want to get stuck on this now that we've all been through this far.

Hello, just write a letter telling them that you visited Toronto & Ottawa in the year ____ and how you've liked the Province since you visited . Also mention how the job market in Ontario is very compatible with your education and experience. Plus other good things you've heard about Ontario.

I got nominated by Ontario, (zero connections to the province) and during my OINP submission i wrote a letter (word doc) telling them how my work experience will fit into the job market there and it was all good.

Have you both applied from outside of Canada? I am going through the same situation, but I am living in Québec, so I do not have a temporary permit to live in Ontario and I am wondering how can I show ties to Ontario if I am not allowed to reside there yet.
