Hi all,

We are getting a bit concerned about our application. Timeline is:

Nomination: May 8th (health)
Submitted: June 22nd
Assessment: waiting

I just sent and email to OINP asking why it's taking this long for the status to change. Is this normal?

On government of Canada website you can look up processing times. Sorry I don't have the link. It's currently showing 5 mos for regular FSW applicants and 9 mos for pnp express entry applicants. You would think it would be the other way around so I'm hoping it changes. A few weeks back it was 7 mos for FSW and 8 mos for PNP.
9 MONTHS????!!! Good god!! I thought it would be around 3! This is absolutely ridiculous!!

Can anyone check with previous ON nominated folks and fins out an accurate picture?

I will share as well, as one of my friends got nominated via ON and is now settled in ON

Yes. This seems to be a more plausible explanation.

The Canada website processing times specifically mention it 'excludes' processing times by PNP. The PNP processing is higher than Federal and its true. However everyone gets it earlier so don't need to worry about it too much as of now. Previously the Federal timeless were 20 months (post covid) and PNP was 10 months. Now federal has reduced but PNP hasn't reduced that much.

Hey Tumble,
Please check your DM.

Hi so I widely discussed it here before but the ADR was about the fact that I am inland in another province and I am a masters student, they wanted to know when I will graduate and some documents to prove I have done extensive research on Ontario
I got my ADR one day after I moved to DIP
My timeline was:
Noi: 8 may
Submit: June 6
Assessment: July 12
DIP: August 9
ADR: August 10
Thank you, and sorry I missed that earlier discussion.

Yes, by OINP standards it's quite normal. Initial applications of a draw are considered quickly but as more and more applications are submitted, the processing time starts to increase. People who submitted early for May 5 draw received nomination in 70-90 days but now the nomination time is gradually increasing.
