I just got nominated!
OINP HCP Tech draw, FSW applicant, CRS used to be 481 but lost 5 points to age, so was counting on this nomination to avoid learning french

Timeline:
NOI received: 02 Feb 2023
Submission: 14 Feb 2023
Assessment: 24 Feb 2023
Decision In Progress: 10 March 2023
Approved: 20 April 2023

My profile is as simple as it gets(no dependents, no ties, 1 job history, 1 bank statement) so maybe take that into account when comparing timelines.

I got an email directly from IRCC telling me I have a new message. In the mean time my OINP portal still shows DIP, so if you're already DIP maybe checking your OINP portal everyday(like I did) won't help much.
Congratulations!!!

Really frustrating
Patience my friend all you will get it, just don't lose hope find ways to be motivated and watch out for emails and communications from OINP. Anyway with the federal strike even if you get OINP nomination early it is not a big deal as you will still wait.

Will OINP applications be affected by the strike, or just IRCC?

Its a very slow ride unfortunately folks, - just consider it practice for the post ITA process I guess :P

OINP are Ontario state employee who are not striking. What I wanted to tell Eso55 is, he/she should not to get frustrated even now. OINP at the maximum will only delay only couple of weeks, may be a month more but will still approve the nomination within a reasonable 3 month timeline. However with the Federal strike IRCC we don't know what will happen, I personally expected the PR application to be delayed by many months.

Thanks for your kind words. What really annoys me the most is the bogus fee they charge and yet they are still slow like a snail. Saskatchewan charges 250cad, Alberta charges 500 cad, Manitoba charges way less than Alberta etc. And these provinces process their applications very fast.. Oinp is very very annoying
