Oinp is keeping us tense.
I already received Express entry ita received at 484 but my oinp application is at DIP stage. This makes me wonder what to do. Can’t get refund now.
If you get fsw ITA, your profile won't be available for oinp to process except you message them to continue processing your application with evidence of you declining your fsw ITA. Since you already got fsw, why are you still waiting for oinp?

Oh :O
Is that the case? I didn't know this.
Do you have any links to documents where I can read more about this?

Why are you wondering what to do though? Wouldn't you just go ahead and apply under express entry?

I have 484 as I have claimed 50 points for my LMIA based closed work permit. But looking at the current tech job situation, wanted to get the cushion of the 600 points if I am impacted by layoffs.
that was my thinking. Plus I won't be able to get a refund from OINP now.

If you are concerned about this you can choose to decline your fsw ITA, and get your nomination since it will put you in a more comfortable state. After all you are not getting the oinp fee back. And in the

I sent them an email almost immediately, attaching the application withdrawal email I received.

I got a mail that refund was being processed yesterday, 4th.

Could you please share the email id you contacted? I withdrew my OINP application over 10 days back and haven't received the refund yet.

If we want to continue in oinp then we have to mail them to continue with oinp and reject the ITA from ircc
At a time you can process only 1 application

Thank you so much for the information shared by you all. I declined the ITA and mailed the Ontario folks to continue with the oinp application.

Wasn't ITA the ultimate goal? Why decline federal ITA if you'd still get it again through nomination, this time just to limit yourself to the province of Ontario? Is there any benefit to this that I'm not aware of? Any assurance of even getting nomination?

Yes, had to as my OINP is in DIP stage, and as per the facts shared here, only one application can be active at one time.
And yes, I am limiting myself to Ontario but don't see myself going anywhere else at the moment, and it gives me the cushion of 600 points compared to the federal ITA.

its been more than 2 weeks sinceI withdrew my application. it was still "submitted"
I sent emails twice to ontario to ask for refund. and they have not answered none of my emails!!
