OINP Human Capital Priorities Stream

Recently I have been checking out on the cutoff scores for the OINP Human Capital Priorities Stream and most of them tend to be around 455-460. I have a CRS profile of 478 points with NOC code 2173 and have selected all the check-boxes for invitations from any province in my express entry application. Recently submitted the profile on 4th of Feb 2022. Also been seeing the news and forums that specify that FSW stream is blocked until the start of second half of 2022.

Do you have any idea on what would be the selection criteria for OINP, would I be selected in that and let's I was offered an ITA from Ontario, what would be the next steps and the timeline of the whole process. ?

Your score is too high right now for an OINP nomination. You need to lower your score to that range for their draws. Some people are redoing IELTS to get a lower score.

I understood that and tried various scenarios for the same to reduce my score. But the highest I'm getting around is 453 and with that score i am not sure if i can get the invitation sir. Do you have any suggestions as to what can i proceed with ? Thank you in advance.

Only ways are to wait for EE draws to resume or wait to see if OINP changes criteria for CRS scores or redo IELTs for lower score. Don’t know other ways to decrease your score. Yesterday’s OINP draw was 463-467 so you must be in this range.

thank you for the reply sir. hoping to have the fsw draws resume soon. i shall also try reducing the crs score if that helps but not sure. thanks you once again for your help sir.
