OINP - Human Capital Priorities -- Application filed March 2016:

I submitted the OINP application in the first week of March 2016. Then after nearly 6 months (3rd week of August 2016), I received an update from OINP saying my check/DD sent for processing application has expired and need to be resent again for processing the application. They assigned a case number and file number to it. I sent them the replacement check in a week. Now it has been a month and a half, and I have not received any update. If this goes on for another month, my present check will also expire. No other updates were provided, like they asked for address to send the original check back, and I have not received the old check till date. Is anyone in the same/similar situation, and have received any updates, please let me know what is the typical wait period here.

Can I update the file for ONIP after submitting the application. I want to add some more attachments.

I think that question deserves another thread.

I hope someone answers mine, and wish yours too get useful responses.

My opinion, you can add soft-copies of any documents (most of the documents, except some which requires notary public/attestation, and WES transcripts) and send them through email. That way, your application will be updated with those set of documents.
