Because, previously Tech candidates were picked with higher scores. Everything is volume based
That doesn't make any sense. The higher scores should always be picked. The EE pool is a competitive pool, so isn't it unfair to someone who is sitting at 485 without a NOI or an EE ITA becauase scores are going 505 and above?

The 485 person is going to get into Tech draw via EE. How is that unfair ? Ontario knows if someone gets a tech draw in EE they won't apply to Ontario. So they need candidates who will surely apply to them. This also suggests tech draw scores are going to fall for EE.

There is not guarantee that there will be an EE Draw that selects 485. Can you give a guarantee?

In my opinion if someone is having a higher score they deserve to be picked up first. You don't need to agree with me but my opinion won't change.

Higher score candidates would have more chances to get a direct federal ITA.

You will have to keep crying as there are many supporters on here who don't care about you having a higher CRS. They will support 458 to 462 draws. Sad but sorry bro. I was once in your situation. Was high 470s 2 years back and still did not get OINP invite as they chose to do 467 CRS at that time. Now you are in the same spot. Nothing you can do bro. Just pray to god.

I could totally relate with this bro, 2 years ago i was at 468 NOI was given to 467 consistently before IRCC started FSW draws was contemplating reducing my scores, unfortunately i still wasnt in the range and if i did I’d have been deemed ineligible, so i opted to increase my score, went to 478, waited and waited for NOI while ontario did multiple draws with lower limits at 479, while i was at 478, so painful 1 point i missed like 5 draws till May 5th draw. Just pray as @ImpatientDragon There is no format or script to follow, It can be painful and nerve wracking

It's my sincere advice to all the candidates here waiting in the pool:

One shouldn't entirely be dependant on this Canada PR process and thus, refrain yourself from having over expectations. It's a matter of time, neither before nor after yout get it. You will have your chance once your time has come. So, maintain the level of your patience and let yourself move with the flow. Your life was going well before this Canadian process, even it should be without this process.

Also, keep looking for crs improvements and other immigration options for Canada or any other country of your interest.

My 2 cents on this topic. I really don’t like to post but something triggered me today. I got my PR approved in 2022 and landed in Canada January 2023. I was there till June 2023 and earlier this month I left Canada permanently for USA. Reason: 1) Cost of living too high. 2) Only jobs I was getting was Tim Hortons and Seven Eleven. 3) Housing unaffordable ( was paying $2900 for an apartment in Brampton). 4) Doctors not accepting new patients ( will need a referral for a specialist doctor, I was given a date after 2 months for a leg sprain treatment). I’m not trying to demotivate anyone but think twice about your decision. It is one of the best country in the world but there are problems. Have a solid plan about what you are doing and what you want to do in future ( what if things don’t work out ) . Sometimes if things are not working out in your favor means that it’s gods indication that it’s not worth it. You’re saved from something bad happening to you.

Stay strong. All the best
