Finally got the much awaited change in status!! From everlasting “Submitted” to “Assessment”....it was a low point after the draw today!! But well Canada does know how to keep you roped in!!

Can anyone please shed some light on the duration of the journey forward? After assessment it is the DIP stage and then if no additional information is needed then nomination? Would appreciate any time frame anyone can give for these stages....

Application Submitted: 7th March 2018
Status: Assessment - 9th May 2018
HCP
That's correct it's DIP after assessment and generally ADR if any is after assessment. Post DIP it is a decision.

That is a long wait, congratulations. My AOR is 31 Mar, still "submitted", what the Fxxx is going on? I am at 440, and it has been 441 twice, been in the pool since January, no body can understand my agony. I want to cry.

I feel your pain, OINP processing seems like forever and the points for the pool hasn't been changing much lately. Some of us have even lost points for a birthday.
You are so close, hang in there.

Congratulations! Two months is indeed a long time for a status change; had they asked for any additional documents after submission? Well, better late than never.

Since it took two months to move from the first to the second stage, I would think that the next steps will be quicker for you than average. Probably a week each on Assessment and DIP. I'd be quite surprised if it goes beyond May.

Hey all, how much time does it take ones application to move from submitted status to assessment and so on?
I uploaded the profile on 21 April, so just curious to know how much time it should take. Thanks

It depends on the stream, for ones under HCP it takes a long time, overall 3 months for a decision.
For Skilled trades stream its much faster, you will have a decision within 2 months and sometimes within a month also.

I assume you are ST stream looking at your profile submission date.

Not exactly ive got a score of 408, and ive applied in EE for Federal worker skill stream amd hoping i get a nomination from OINP, cause the EE scores are in the 440s

When do these guys want to begin issuing nominations. No movement from DIP to nomination for more than a week now. That is, judging from Immitracker.
What is happening? Why the slow pace?

As per the trend seen this year, all the nominations are happening only when the case is closer to 90 days. This is for HCP only. For other cases like, french stream or skilled stream or CEC class(Canda inland) they are prioritized and move at a much faster rate and tend to get nominations within 1-2 months.

Mine is about 72days in process. Hopefully, the issue nomination before next draw.

Any change for people applied under HCP and on or after March 9th. Mine still at submitted stage since March 14th.

Finally, the status is now assessment. I forgot to send my ECA via WES to OINP. I just paid the courier amount of $41.81 on my WES account and within 3 hours, my OINP status changed from "submitted" to "assessment". So, for people who are still in submitted, please make sure you send a duplicate copy of your ECA from your WES account to OINP, MCIIT ( just a reminder, I know all of you would have already done it :p)

How much time would this take to go in DIP and from DIP to nominated, considering that the next draw happens on 23rd May, what are my chances to get nominated and then get an invite?

Extremely happy to confirm I received nomination today under HCP. Took a while (~ 77 days from submission to nomination) but thought I'd let this group know that OINP are still issuing nominations. Good luck to all those still patiently waiting for a decision.
