Yes, once you got an Approved LMIA you will be eligible to apply for a Work Permit regardless of where you are (outside/inside) Canada.
Sorry I'm not sure what will be the advantage of LMIA with regards to OINP. My knowledge is very limited, I'm only sharing what I have learned in my personal experience.

I read Application Guide for Foreign worker stream,

Below lines suggest, the successful application will get nomination certificate which gives you 600 points.
This is not paper based but online. Can someone please confirm on this ?
And any rough idea about processing timelines ?

If your application is successful, you will receive a Letter of Nomination and a work permit support letter, along with the OINP Confirmation of Nomination document. Successful nominees must submit an application for permanent residence to IRCC within six (6) months of being nominated by the OINP. You must include a copy of your Letter of Nomination and a copy of the OINP Confirmation of Nomination document. Note: Nomination by OINP does not guarantee the approval of your application for permanent residence by IRCC.

i have a situation, when i was student in hospitality managment i was offered part time job as steward, after two months i got promoted to line cook, since then i was part time line cook but when i finished my study and become a full time worker my employer convert that job into full time line cook, now its going to be a year in next month working as a full time line cook on Post graduation work permit. i wanted to apply for oinp when i asked my employer to give me job offer he gave me the old job contract which i signed as a steward, he said he cannot change this but he would give a employment letter in which he would state my job duties my wage and my current job title (Cook), my work history and job changes ( from steward to cook) would it be a problem if i submit that with my oinp application or Would that letter support my application and the changes that had been made in a job? will Oinp consider my application? kindly reply

Hi, yes.... I submitted my PR aplication paper based, without those documents in my application package.... you'll be fine as long as you follow the application guideline...

Hi, I have applied for OINP-student steam and I am waiting for updates. Once you have the Nomination, Do I have to apply paper based PR or EE? IF paper based, can you send the application package link for this stream? I do not have bachelors degree, Is it ok for PR app?

hello, just want to ask for those who applied outside canada, did you provide bank statement in applying OWP and WP? or any proof of funds?
my husband just applied for WP and they asked for bank statement but we told Vfs that we dont have and vfs said its OK, but im just worried for OWP since i havent applied yet because i am currently on the process of renewing my passport, is anybody here experienced applying OWP outside canada?

These streams have seen a significant increase in applications in 2019 making it necessary to pause intake to the streams due to Ontario’s limited nomination allocation from the Federal government.

The OINP will continue to monitor the intake of applications across all streams and will determine when these streams can be reopened at a later date in 2019.

My problem is that I finished college in Ontario in August 2017 and my two years will be August 2019..
I'm so scared, because I don't know if it's going to reopen before August 2019 or not ?

But my situation is that I haven't applied yet.
I was about to apply yesterday and the I realized that it has been paused since April 26th 2019,
Not sure when it's going to be reopened.

Hello I am about to Apply our PR under Foreign worker stream outside canada, should I provide a POF?
Still confuse, WP and OWP already approved without POF. SHould I apply PR when we come to Canada, Nomination will expire this coming July 2019. Delayed from US because we renew first our passports. Hoping for a response. Thank you.

hello to all I have sent our docs last july 5 in Sydney Nova scotia for PR, it was delivered last July 16 in IRCC office.
the expiration of the nomination was July 22, 2019. until now NO AOR received, how many months will it take to receive AOR?

and what if the nomination expired and they haven't opened the envelop of our docs?

Please advise....
