Hello Everyone,
I need your help, please!!!! I'm working for one of the big 4 companies as an Assurance Specialist and my duties match Noc 2171. For Noc 2171, I do not have a Computer science education and I don't know if I select the noc code my application will be rejected because of that. Please, I need your advice. Thanks

Hello,

Has anyone experienced changing NOC codes because you got transferred to another department or your job title changed (but still the same skilled category A)? If this happens, are you gonna go back to square one or will just add into the processing time?

Thank you!

About employer form, do you just give one to your employer to fill out?

What if they don't want to?

hi, does the employer require na lmia for foreign worker or international student?

I read this "Note: Employers may have to demonstrate sufficient proof of recruitment efforts if the applicant is an individual who currently lives abroad, is visiting Canada, or is working in a province or territory other than Ontario."

http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPEMPLOYERS_SUPPORT.html

edit:
I seem to have found my answer, apparently foreign workers outside ontario or canada will require demonstration of recruitment efforts which is LMIA in a sense, students dont seem to require this.

2.2.5 Recruitment
This criterion only applies to the Foreign Worker Stream.

If the applicant is currently living and working outside of Canada, or working in Canada but outside of Ontario, you must demonstrate that sufficient efforts were made to recruit a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident for the position being offered to the applicant.
Note: If the applicant is currently authorized to work in Ontario, you do not need to provide proof of recruitment efforts.

1) no you don't get NOI. You apply following the steps
2) no you don't need LMIA but have to fulfill the requirements provided on OINP

3) no you don't have to be in Canada to get PNP
Hi,
are you saying that my employer just makes me a job offer and he doesnt need to apply for lmia ? I read employers need to get LMIA for work permits

Hi,
Yes. Note that we are talking about 2 different things: Nomination/PR and work permit.

To work in Canada, you need a work permit, in most cases it needs an LMIA.

If you are nominated, you use the nomination to apply to be a PR, regardless of where you are and where you work.

But if you are nominated, you will also get a work permit support letter. If you want to come to canada, you may use this letter to apply to get a work permit and work while you wait for your PR. This letter EXEMPTS your permit to require an LMIA because the province needs you.

In other words, if you are a nominee, you are exempt from an LMIA when you ask for your work Permit. Without the nomination, you will most likely need a positive LMIA.

Under job offer streams, usually NOC B workers are already in Canada because it would be hard to get a job offer otherwise, and then the employer would wait alot for the employee to come. Unless for very unique and talented people, usually in NOC A and 0, it is not common.
