Hi guys! Mine was just approved =) but I just discovered that is a not EE nomination, but paper based only. I am afraid that it will take years to process my pr application.

Congratulations!!! Yes, it is non EE so it will take almost 2 years. It’s a paper based application that you will mail to Sydney, Nova Scotia I guess.

Jesus! Express entry will be way more faster
Yes, you can read more details on how long you can get an AOR on the paper based stream in the other forum for PNP Paper Based PR applications. The pandemic also worsened the situation:(

Actually, I do not understand one thing. I have paid ~$1300 for OINP. Now, it seems that I have to pay another ~$1300 and I do not know why. I have paid for Right of PR fees which is $825

Yes, there’s a separate fee for the federal PR application paper based. Is that what you mean with the another payment?

Yes, and it is again ~$1300?
And If I decide to refuse nomination and go with EE, I have to pay ~$1300 again?

Yes for both. The thing with EE is that we have to wait for 1 year work experience to be able to join EE via CEC.

So, what is the better way to go? PNP paper-based or EE?
I though OINP is a EE nomination, and If i start earlier, I will get my pr earlier. Now it feels like, that it is better to wait until september and apply through EE. How long many month it usually takes to process ExEntry Pr applications?
