Good morning,

Has anyone here that sent the paper based PR application in the last month received any response from them?
I sent mine in Oct 21st and got nothing yet.

Thank you!

Be prepared for a long wait. It will take more than 6 months now for AOR.

Why do you think so?
Based on shared information in the post, applicants who sent the package to Sydney in May start to get AOR. Need to wait 6 months.

I have the same problem!!! I think it will take 2 months in total.

So now we have an idea about the ONIP timeline, they are still processing applications submitted on Oct 28th, @gollum12 submit his application on Oct 28th and moved to assessment on Nov 14th then @Jessy cho submitted on the same day 28th and moved to assessment on Nov 17th so if everything goes well me and @marydonna should move to assessment by this week as we submitted ours on the 29th, @madavila03 submit his application on Nov 2nd so may be his application will got to assessment by next week , are we missing anyone else ONIP foreign work stream Oct 21st?

Thank you. That spreadsheet is really useful.
Although the AR to AOR time has been increasing, the total time to DM looks like has been decreasing. The Decision is coming 2 to 3 months after the AOR, which doesn't make sense. It is almost like they are not sending AOR anymore. They are probably skipping this step.
CIC had opened a few packages from March to August. Those packages have waited for AOR. But current 21 months processing time starts from AR, so process time after AOR is adjusted.

This process does not make sense.
Some cases during the covid (which is a crazy moment) got the PR in less than 1 year.
Some cases before the covid, got the PR after 1 year.
Is it make sense?
Not for me =(
In my case, the DIP took SOOOO long but my AOR took 15 days.
Crazy, does not it?

From my experience, the Master stream is a tiny bit easier.
But for Worker and Student stream, if you were not in queue for the first 5 minutes, you can’t get the slot (even though the stream will open for 30 minutes to an hour).

Hi,
I have a question regarding My Nomination Approval Letter - Employer Job Offer Stream. There is a condition i have in my approval letter.

"You must be employed in the approved employment position as of the date of
your nomination, if you are already working for the employer; or on the date you
obtain a work permit and begin working in the approved employment position, if
you are not already working for the employer."

As I am a Outland applicant. I am not in Canada and obviously not working for Employer.
Can somebody interpret above condition for me-Please

1) Is this normal condition for all applicants?
2) As I am a outland applicant so i must get work permit to apply and get Permanent Resident? (What if i could not get work permit for some reason.)

Please Help to understand.
Thanks
