- When will Ontario opens this stream again ? I Heard every year they have some number of applications to invite, are they done for this year ?
- What documents i should keep ready for this ?
- Anyone has check list who can share so keep them ready ?
It's unclear when they will reopen this stream, they do not provide advance notice. The stream is undergoing regulatory changes too so it may be done for the year.
You can review the checklist here:

Is anyone having issues logging into the OINP portal at the moment?

Hello, I am newbie to this forum with Inland Canada status. Received the approval for OINP- FWS on the 10th Sep for the application submitted on August 2nd.

While I am reviewing the document checklist, they requested for Birth Certificate and Identity Certificate. As i am Indian citizen, i do have accept AAdhar Card. Is it accepted for Identity and Birth Certificate.
If it is not accepted for Birth certificate, what are the other document to be provide for this , is Notarized 10th Certificate accepted
You need to get Birth certificate from Government authorities, For eg in Delhi one can get same from Municipal corporation of Delhi same way you can check in your city.

Thank you for the details !!! But i will try to keep all the documents ready meanwhile.

- My NOC comes under 2132 / 2232 , some people say both regulatory and need licensing ? Any idea is it mandatory to have even if the job requirement say experience is enough to get ?
- Do you think i need attorney ? or can i do by myself ?
- If i understand correctly, we do not need IELTS for now while submitting this application, but after OINP approved provincial nomination, when we are sending the paper application to CIC and that time we need IELTS right ?

Anyone had applied 2132 / 2232 / 0211 (Mechanical Engineering related occupation) , Can you please suggest are these occupations mandatory to have licensing in Ontario even thought job offer letter says experience / licencing either one is mandatory ?

I don't know about licensing but surely you don't need IELTS at all in this stream, not even while submission to IRCC

You have to check your NOC in job bank.
Not IELTS at all.

Hi all!
Just received the medical exam request today and a new biometrics letter request. They just asked for my kids and husband's medical exam, I believe because just I had the medical exam done earlier this year when applying for the Bridging Work Permit.
We first received our biometric request in February but due to Covid, we couldn't get it. Even with the new request on hand, we can't book on the website and our lawyer said that IRCC will call us to book a new date to get the biometrics done.
Feeling hopeful with things getting back on track again!

Congratz Fe, our timeline is a bit similar... maybe around 20 days of distance hehehe.

I hope they send me again the Biometric letter and medical exams!

Waiting anxiously...

News for those who are waiting biometrics in Canada:

Service Canada Centres are gradually resuming biometrics collection services for permanent residence applicants who have received a biometric instruction letter (BIL).

Service Canada officers will call you at the telephone number you provided in your application to schedule your biometrics appointment. There is no additional fee to pay, and you don’t need a new BIL. Don’t go to a Service Canada Centre unless a Service Canada Officer calls you and schedules an appointment for you.
