right-click on the page and select "Inspect".
Check the "Console" tab and you will see there is data received every 1,2 minutes.
In the data, you will see your position in queue.

This definitely isn't always the case - I waited in the queue for 4 hours in March for it to be closed when I got in.

I couldn't get into the line. Just wanted to know for future reference. I was able to find the Inspect/Console. Thanks. Its back to "busy" message. I guess the window is closed now. Few lucky people got in.

The e-portal opens up a few minutes before the main OINP page updated.
This time a bit different from last time, I tried to queue on another laptop and also get high traffic msg.

Last time, I remembered I still can enter the queue with 4,5 hours waiting.

As I mentioned before, there appears to be changes to this round. Previously you were able to enter the queue and sit there and wait for hours on end. This time they've added an intermediary where it won't even let you into the queue if there are too many people in it.

You just have to sit and refresh on that page, and once you get to the screen with the Captcha code, then you can enter the queue. Then you have to wait again.
