and it will tell you to sign in and you will go from there.

OK buddy. So just to confirm, click on efiling portal link, new window opens..we select New Applicant and chose the stream and continue..right?

Pre-register
If you’re using the portal for the first time, you must pre-register before you can sign up for ONe-key. In the portal, select “New applicant.”

last time, it was a sudden notice, still so many were able to apply. this time, though there was an advance notification, but do you think that majority ppl waiting today are those who missed the notice last time OR you guys think the count would be even more this time? (irrespective, i wish everyone books a spot today)

I don't think so - the maintenance message is different to this one. This could be legitimately too much traffic.

They don't normally give advanced warning that the stream is going to open, when it opened in March it was closed within ~10 minutes due to meeting demand so this one will close even quicker.

I think it's gonna be way too much people.
Because they gave us heads up this time

the traffic msg is coming on a dffrnt URL, maintenance msg is on https://www.ontarioimmigration.gov.on.ca/oinp_index/resources/app/guest/index.html#!/

Correct but the oinp eportal link isn't even hitting the normal domain, so it could be being redirected at the load balancer level.

Update: am now getting maintenance message, so maybe they put a redirect in overnight and it's about to open OR it's back in maintenance.

This is for apply, my question is to open the application. After you open the application, you have 14 days to submit all docs.
