It is not a Express Entry stream. Once you have your nomination, the application to PR is paper based no express entry linked
I cannot agree more with Chivinas, EE and paper based nomination are totally two different streams, for EE stream, you can apply for Nomination only when you receive NOI from ONIP, as already discussed before, we are not able to get NOI due to low CRS score because we are 'old man club'. :) what we are doing right now is apply for the nomination via paper based stream, and once nominated, we can apply PR via 'immigrate as provincial nominee(paper process)' https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio.../provincial-nominees/application-process.html, the nomination is not apply for EE stream.

@chivinas --> Please stay with us an guide us for rest of the PR process. Please let us know if you find any surprises in PR application.

One surprise that hit me is Indian police clearance certificate. They put my spouse one on hold for manual verification from India (In US now). Its been 30 days already and no progress on that. I suggest everyone to apply for Indian police clearance ASAP. Its quite a manual process. UK one was completely streamlined, online and was a breeze. Takes about 15 days for it to be in hand. Yet to apply for US one, hope its easy too.

Police clearance certificate/application can not be initiated without ITA or official request by IRCC in Canada. My application was not even checked by BLS,Ottawa as soon they found no ITA or official request, that's one of the main check-list. I am not sure if that's the case in other places in Canada. This rule just sucks.

I cannot help with this, because I am not from India. In my case, I can get the police clearance at my country's consulate (in Toronto)

Hi @GG12345 : Please note that once you receive the paper PNP via email from Ontario, while submitting the paper PR days/weeks later, it is clearly mentioned in the document checklist to submit Police clearance certificates along with other documents via courier. Please see this pdf https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5690e.pdf

Also you wont get any invitation from IRCC. You need to flush Express Entry process from your memory :)
