AOR is when they open your envelope and ensure that the application is complete and send you an Acknowledge of Receipt.
If something is missing, they will reject the application and send it back to you. Together with the application they ask you to send a self-adhesive label with your address to use it in case they have to return your pack.
From what I could see on Immitracker, for paper-based applications is taking about 2-3 months to get AOR. For EE I don't know, but for sure must be less, as the total processing time is about 6 months.
 
i have a new situation in my account.After the required docs were submitted successfully the status was awaiting info as i mentioned earlier.Now as per the rep and also sc recd I don’t see any file in my account no status no number nothing what does that mean ,anyone of you came across such situation?i am worried

Ok, AOR for EE may be System driven. I will be required that to file BOWP. Almost ready with docs needed for ITA . Hoping will get it tomorrow.

Yes, it must be system driven for sure. Are you still in submitted, don't? If you get IT you can withdraw your application and get your money back!

That's weird. Maybe could be a system error?

It happened to me last week. I feel like it is due to the system maintenance they did over the weekend. After 1 or 2 days, I was able to see my application again with an updated status from “Awaiting Information” to “Decision in Progress”

Since my file was submitted by a rep and i guess he is too busy to see my updates everyday i can only estimate the timelines as and when informed by him

My status is in my signature :) . I am still in DIP :(. I see @VeganHero got his nomination with a later DIP date than mine. By the way congrats @VeganHero
