Yes, work permit is you legal stauts in Canada.
You'd better check the border policy to see if you can come to canada due to COVID-19 when you get your work pertmit.

when they approve your work permit, they will ask for your passport to stamp the VISA that allows you to enter the country. Once here, at the airport, they will give you your work permit.

Yes you can. If you are outside Canada, you get a temporary resident visa or ETA. Once u land, you will be issued Work Permit at the airport. If travelling for a job that is open and business is running, then you can come. Also, u said u received PAL. What is that?

Guys all set to land in Canada on 2nd Aug (from US). Will finish quarantine and join the company on 19 if everything goes as per plan. Let's see. Hopefully my PR file may move after that.

PAL is Pre Arrival Letter, they send it right after the eligibility is passed

I am in forreign worker stream and got nomination end of June and preparing for submit the documents for pr.
Just got a question because my company is in difficult.

So, my question is what will be happended if I lost job (FIRED OR QUIT THE JOB).

Please explain as much as you know

Sorry to hear all this mate. AFAIK, you loose the nomination unless you find a similar employer and similar role, salary etc. and email OINP on their PNP email to transfer the nomination. After that, you will need to inform IRCC via Webform. Also, you need to get another emloyer specific Work Permit issued from within Canada, based on the new nomination. I am no expert in this. This is from my knowledge of what I have read. No practical experience. Best thing is to somehow persuade the employer to not fire you and keep you on payroll until PR.

Have you got Temporary Resident Visa already? I think you have got the Work Permit too, yeah?

Thamks.I am Indian. So need a TRV. Got it stamped. Work permit is issued at the border upon landing.

My PAL is next in our group I guess.
