Hey Guys,

I, like many of us here, have been in this EE pool for far too long. As desperation sets in, I was wondering if anyone has received the OINP Human Capital PT nomination with the following criteria, if it is even possible (I know the site says MINIMUM CANADIAN BACHELORS - but I'm out of options at this point)

1 - a 3yr Canadian Diploma
2 - 1 yr of continuous work exp
3 - family ties to ON
4 - 11K+ funds available
5 - 18 to 35 yrs of age
6 - 444 EE crs points
7 - NOC 2282

Also, If anyone has received OINP PT without meeting all of their "section 2" requirements. I would really appreciate a reply/pm.

I have tried seeking jobs that would provide an LMIA - with more rejects than :-[ I keep track of. And I won't even comment on my "success" with the EE Job Bank.

Thanks

OINP admitted they may have sent some PT invitations by error to those who did not complete at least a bachelor's degree. Basically, if you do not meet the minimum requirements for OINP, your application may be rejected even after receiving a PT invite.

Thanks for getting back to me on this. Even if it means I'm back to square one

Have you considered other provinces?

Can anyone share the minimum requirement on OINP eligibility?

We don't actually know, but what we can guess is:

a) A CRS of 400 or above (this is the only thing they have explicitly confirmed)
b) An intent to reside in Ontario, demonstrated by either clicking on Ontario when making your EE profile, or 'All of Them'
c) Certain NOCs- this is the one we don't know for sure. Only some NOCs qualify, while others do not. Which ones? We don't know, we don't have enough information to draw any conclusive data (sometimes, highly skilled engineers don't get invites, while social media marketing managers might).

I wonder what other factors may influence their decision... IELTS score? Marital status? Country of origin?

The first two things are accounted for in your CRS, so no, they don't come up, and as for the final thing, no, Canada, or any of its provinces, do not have COI based quotas.
