Thank you so much. My profile expired in Jan 2022 so I had to recreate a new one. Is there a way to submit grievance?
Unfortunately, your profile expired so what is your grievance? You don’t meet their parameters. OINP sets their rules. You can try but OINP most likely will say that you don’t meet their requirements for profile dates. Plus they set that draw with a certain number of people in mind for their quotas.

I appreciate it if you can give me an advice regarding my case: I live and work (tech job) in Ontario. I have a phd from Quebec. For OINP, it seems that I am eligible to apply for both international student stream and human capital priorities. I don’t know which one is a better choice for me. My crs score is 476 but I can decrease it.
Please share with me your ideas.
Thank you in advance.

Based on the last HCP draw, you need not decrease your score. If your occupation is in the priority list, you will get an NOI from Ontario. You cannot apply without receiving an NOI first. So make sure you have a valid express entry profile in place and wait for the next draw.

I have just started to work in technology jobs but before that I don’t have a work experience in this regard. (I have one year job exp as a post doc in engineering ). For tech draw, it seems they check the work experience. Do you think I am eligible for this stream? (The crs score of last tech draw was 463 to 467 and mine was out of this range)

Have a Query :
In Express Entry Profile I have shown :
a) 1 yr CEC experience
b) 3 yrs USA Experience(foreign exp.)
c) 5 yrs India Experience(foreign exp.)

I received OINP - NOI in Tech Draw on 8th Feb, so now I am unable to collect Salary Slips/Bank Statement for Last 5yrs as I closed bank a/c etc, so for OINP, can I just show proofs of Canada Experience and USA experience and for others, I just mention in other work history and mention in LOE that I am not claiming any points for CRS

Hi everyone!
I would really appreciate if somebody could explain me some details about my case. I have a CRS score of 476 and have the NOC 0124 which is eligible for the latest Ontario Human Capital Priorities stream draw (February 22, 2022). However, I haven't received any invitations since my profile was created in August 2021 in Express Entry System. Can someone explain me what's going on? Maybe I should have registered somewhere else on Ontario site?
Thank you

The last draw on February 22 was for those who set up a profile between February and April 2021. You set up your profile in August so you didn’t receive a nomination.

I got it, but it feels like it's a bit unfair to send nomination to those who have lower score than I do (during 2021 they sent a lot of invitations to someone with CRS score fewer than 467)

OINP sets the rules, and for this draw set it for those who had set up profiles almost a year ago. The next draw could be for May to July with even higher scores and different NOCs. Will not know until it happens.

Do you think it is still necessary to lower my CRS score by retaking IELTS for NOC 2173, I'm currently having a 470 which is not eligible for last Tech Draw as it is too high. But now that with the last HCP draw, they tend to have changed the criteria.

Honestly can’t say. Don’t know if the change in criteria will continue. When was your profile created because that may be a factor too since the last draw was Feb-April profiles. Can you lower if by 5-10 points or so?

My profile was created on October 13, 2021. Currently, I'm planning to lower my CRS by 3 by getting a lower band in either reading or listening. I think a total score of 467 would be the best for all possible situations. :D

Hi! I've received the NOI on Feb 22, and I'm working on creating my OINP profile. I have a Bachelor's degree (four years) and Postgraduate Diploma (one year).

In my OINP profile, what should I select for 'What is your highest level of education for which you received an educational credential?'. When I select 'Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees', I'm getting an error stating 'To qualify under the Human Capital Priorities Stream, you must have a Canadian Bachelor's degree or higher, or its equivalent.'

The other options are as follows:
  • Secondary school (high school)
  • One-year post-secondary program
  • Two-year post-secondary program
  • Three-year post-secondary program
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees
  • Professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession
  • University degree at the Master's level
  • University degree at the Doctoral (PhD) level
  • Other
Thanks in advance!
