Hi everyone,

I just got my ONIP approval couple of hours ago. Do I need to update my EE profile independently or the system will automatically increase my CRS. I noticed my CRS hasn't changed to reflect PNP yet. Please advise as I don't want to be missed out on today PNP draw.

Thanks
You need to accept the nomination in your profile and 600 points will be immediately added to your score.

Hello, I just received a message from the bank that the fees paid to OINP have been refunded. My application on the portal still shows 'Submitted' status.

As per my knowledge fees are only refunded if Withdrawn or Incomplete Application. I rechecked my application it seems to be complete and the application has never been withdrawn.

Does it happen with anyone else as well?

Hi All,

While submitting settlement funds proof of funds we have all the required funds in primary applicant's bank account. No spouse funds were used for settlement funds. We submitted the application with primary applicant's last 4 months bank statements. Today we have received an email of 'Notice of incomplete application' stating there is missing letter from spouse for settlement funds saying ' You did not provide a letter from your spouse/common- law- partner confirming that you have access to the funds'.

But we had declared funds only of the primary account holder as it had sufficient funds. No amount from spouse bank account was declared as it was not required.

Is this rejection valid? Do we have to submit a letter from spouse confirming you have access to the funds if we never submitted spouse's funds proofs as primary applicant had sufficient funds?

They have mentioned they will close the account and the amount will be refunded. But on the OINP e-filling portal the application status still shows 'submitted'.

Request your help and guidance.

I think a letter from spouse is always mandatory, check Funds section on the below document checklist:

I am primary applicant and provided bank certificate only from my end showing total settlement amount for family of 5. No other letter from my spouse. Application is in process. PNP SINP

Hello Everyone, My OINP Non-Tech Draw application was marked incomplete because of unintentionally not authorizing WES to share results with OINP. In dilemma now, to resubmit the fresh application on the same EOI (2nd March) and requesting them to consider it. Meanwhile, in case the new non-tech OINP draw happens and since I would have an open resubmitted file. Would I still be getting the Expression of Interest for the fresh draw?

I am afraid, there are chances of OINP refusing to reconsider the fresh submission of the file and on the other hand, also getting missed from the invitation of the new non-tech draw (In case there is any rule around it?)

Any suggestion on how to move forward from here?

They changed their rules recently and are very strict now when it comes to incomplete applications, check below link:

https://www.ontario.ca/page/2021-ontario-immigrant-nominee-program-updates

You will need a new NOI to submit another application and same EE profile will not receive NOI more than once.

@seadrag0n I can see the notification of an incomplete application on 13th April which says

If your application is deemed incomplete, you will need to receive a new invitation to apply or notification of interest before submitting a new application.

The OINP expects this change to result in higher quality applications and improved processing times for all streams.

But on which date is the updated notification which says the same EE profile will not receive NOI more than once? Waiting for your confirmation
