Possibly a lame question. I was watching a youtube video and noticed, 1500$ fee is only to be paid after NOI from Ontorio. I.e. I can create EE profile and wait for NOI. Now my question is why people say that 1500$ is at stake? If I get an NOI, I would assume that I will letter LOI for sure?

Am I missing something? I am confused at the moments.

Is there any trend data available to demonstrate what range of CRS is covered by Ontario PNP for NOC 1122? My current CRS is 360 and I am very shortly appearing for IELTS again to hopefully increase my CRS to 410/420. Any guidance or data points will be very much appreciated.

This actually applies to only those people who are very near to the current cut-off scores(+/- CRS 2). They have not yet got the ITA but have got the NOI from Ontario. Now, if they chose to apply to Ontario and while Ontario is processing the application, they get the direct ITA, then the $1500 spent for OINP application seems wasted.

People with scores far from current ITA cut-offs would not feel so because CIC is getting very unpredictable and competition is increasing fast. So, everyone tries to grab the first opportunity as quickly as one can. $1500 in such cases is the added cost to fulfil their dream and not the monetary value at stake.

Once you receive NOI, chances are slim that you would get refusal. It only happens in cases where your data submitted does not match the details mentioned on your CIC profile or few other factors.

Check their news section
http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNEW.html
For each draw, there is a range of scores that they check during the draw. Also you must have a minimum of 400 points as stipulated in their website to be eligible for the draw. Check their website for updates; the news section to be precise. The last draw that was done was done on February 26th 2018 for HCP. None has been done since then.

Hello,

By the grace of almighty I got the nomination from OINP today with CRS 438, CLB 9 & NOC 2133.

Total time duration from application submission date was 88 days. Feeling quite happy and eager to make a decision I need your help. Please advice on the following or if you can point out to the correct forum or thread where these were discussed:
  1. How long do you think it would take for me to get a direct ITA with CRS 438 ? I know this has no straight answer, but what is your opinion abut it ? Should I go for PNP or wait it out ?
  2. Is the process time different for PNP stream candidates and direct ITA applicants by IRCC ?
  3. What are the implications of accepting PNP and landing in Canada as a PNP ? What are the restrictions and obligations of a PNP ?
  4. How is a PNP immigrant different from a Federal Immigrant ? Can one work or study outside the nominated province ?
  5. What is your general opinion about Ontario in terms of living, working and studying (especially for NOC 2133) ?
Would really appreciate your help guys. I would like to make a decision for accepting the nomination over the weekend so I can be in-line for a PNP-ITA this Wed..

Thanks

if I am not wrong, NOI have not been released for HCP category since Mar-2018. The last was done sometime during Feb-2018. It is expected to get started by end of June or beginning of Jul for HCP category. I am also in the same boat. Let us not give hope. If we are not considered till Jul-2018 then it is all over.

Hey are you sure OINP will be open in July.. My CRS is 417 and I wrote IELTS four times. This time I got 8.5 8.5 7 in speaking and 6.5 in writing. Also applied for Reval. Any chances of getting NOI from Ontario?? I am also appearing for IELTS again in July..

What are my chances of getting NOI from Ontario or am i eligible for any other PNP?

1) go for pnp. direct ita at 438 is long way away. you might even get PR by then
2) varies
3) you need to stay in the same province or provide valid reason if you move out of province in the future when you apply for citizenship or renew PR
4) see above
5) no idea, got nominated and submitted my application for PR on the 7th.

Hello,

My application has completed 84 days and it is still in DIP stage. Can I expect to get nominated before the next CRS draw or would it take complete 90 days to get the nomination?
