For past two week there was no nomination is it a good sign or bad sign for the ppl who has noi and waiting for oinp to open

On point 2), it's not illegal to have 2 profiles one as Primary and other as Secondary applicant.
I know couple of successful candidates did the same too.

In my case, I first created EE profile with my wife as Primary applicant as she got more CRS points due to age factor.

I created another profile later myself as Primary applicant, luckily on 29th June ICT candidates were issued NOI by Ontario. So I could apply for OINP, secured nomination.

So I suggest keep all the options open, you never know which one would click though.

Waiting Since then!

No ADR's

I have called them many times all I hear from them is my file is with Senior Officer and they have a backlog that is the reason for the delay.
I have crossed 75 days
They are processing randomly it seems. Don't know what's going on
With 988 Nominations left, I am really concerned now.

Honestly speaking after seeing anger of applicants who already applied and the backlog they are facing, they would prefer not to take new registrations even if they are left with some.

Dear senior members I need help. my score after nomination was 1036. due to CLB 9 and 2 or more degrees in education. My experience is more than 3 years as I started my job in Apr 2012. But my last date of degree completion was Dec 2014. I received notes today and agent says I met all the criteria but assessed my score as 986. I do not know why and how? I have failed to understand because even if they consider my experience after the education, it would be 2 years which gives me 25 points unlike for complete 3 years which gives 50 points. For spouse I have 8 points for education and 18 points for IELTS.


Please guide me how should I go about it. I am worried

Client age: 75

First Official Language: 116

Spouse First official language: 18


Skill transferability

Education: 50

Foreign work Experience: 50

PN Nomination: 600

Total score 1036

I just renewed my international passport and require the following clarifications:

1. Do I delete the old passport details on my cic acct and update with the new one or keep both.

2. Do I update oinp of the new passport details and upload blank pages (I have a nomination).

3. During ITA application my travel history is in my old passport details do I keep same and also share blank pages & data pages of my new passport?

Pls, advise.

Hi All
I have just created EE profile with CRS score of 405. I have applied with NOC code 2172. After completing the EE profile and job bank profile , I realised that none of the provinces are open for nomination at the moment .Also found that 2172 doesn't feature in the demand list of Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan. Can I change the NoC code now to 2171, as its duties are also aligned with mine to some extent ?
Another query is can I choose 2 NOC codes if I have worked in different sections in same organization?

In the check list of documents that we have to submit, it is said that

7.3 Work Contracts (mandatory)
Copies of your work contract(s) from previous and current employers for all periods of work (foreign and Canadian) stated in your application.

and my questions are:

a.We don't have to provide contracts from employment periods which we don't claim for,do we? I just want to make sure I understand the requirement correctly.

b. What can be alternatives if I don't keep contracts from previous employments that I claim points ? I only have a document that the previous company gave me when I left and it is kind of a labor contract termination document. Is it enough ?

You can keep both if you wish or delete the old and include the new only. In both cases add a brief explanation in LOE.

2. Do I update oinp of the new passport details and upload blank pages (I have a nomination).
Yes, this is recommended to update them so they can include your new details in their system. I don't think they will re-issue you nomination certificate however just update them and state you just want to let them know. You can attach the Photo and Sign Page only and if they ask for a complete Passport then attach that.

3. During ITA application my travel history is in my old passport details do I keep same and also share blank pages & data pages of my new passport?
For IRCC you will keep all travel history in the last 10 years, and for new passport only attach Photo and Sign page along with any stamped or visa pages. In addition, also attach old passport photo, sign, visa, and stamped pages.

Is it correct to assume that if in June -July OINP HCP closed most NOC intakes and only issued NOI for specific NOC like for ICT , then this year quora is over??

If answer is yes then can we safely assume that in Jan new quota would be opening??
I am asking this because I would be resubmitting my profile in Dec or Jan with CRS of 403.
