Hi everyone,

I just got refused from HCP stream after a waiting time of 13 month. Has anyone know or have any experience with reconsideration procedure (appeal).

Any information or experience is much appreciated.

Hi All,

I have finally received my OINP nomination after more than 14 months of wait. I had applied on 21 Oct 2015 and have received nomination yesterday. I'll mostly be getting an ITA in the next draw. Can someone please advise on what all documents I should be starting to collect so that the permanent residence process doesn't take as long as the nomination!

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Aadi

You have read the general questions which are linked to other streams of OINP.
You must go through the below link and read about the Human Capital Priorities stream:

Talking of IELTS, it is highly recommended to obtain CLB 9 scores i.e. atleast L 8, R 7, W 7, S 7
Since you are a couple, whoever achieves CLB 9 scores should become the primary applicant and the other as the dependant, so that you have a nice high CRS score in the range of 430 to 460 points. A 0.5 increase from 6.5 to 7 in a particular IELTS module will increase you CRS score by atleast 50 to 58 points.

Thanks Sushsmart - could you let me know how long it took for OINP once you put in your EE pplication

There was no "NOC list" under the Human Capital Priorities or the French Speaking Skilled Workers stream. If your NOC fell under the categories 0/A or B, you were eligible. The stream has no re-opened yet and when it does, there might be alternations to the process (the process might be online this time around) and the minimum-cutoff might be different.

so, after it (OINP) has closed in feb2016, it hasnt opened yet?

There has been no exact time frame so far as we have seen applicants received nominations anywhere between 7 to 14 months from the time they submitted their OINP application since October 2015. My app reached on 1st Feb 2016 and got nomination on 21st Dec. 2016 - a little less than 11 months.
No they will start online application system in 2017 so the processing time should reduce to say around 6 months or so hopefully.
