OINP - EE - Human Capital Priorities Stream - Comprehensive Guide

Dear Seniors,

Seek your help in the following matter:
I am a banker with total Work Ex of years. This is my 3rd job.

My 1st job was with a PSU Bank
My 2nd Job was with a MNC Bank
and now I am currently working in Pvt Bank.

While my current employer and my 2nd employer have provided the Work Experience Letters, My 1st employer has verbally refused stating that it is not as per their policy and They will not issue any other documentation. They had provided the Relieving proceedings which I have and I also have 1 or 2 salary slips. However, as it is almost 10 years, I don't have the offer/appointment letter.

Pls guide, as to what I should do?

If you can ask any of your colleagues who is still working there to provide you the reference letter on a plain paper, then it will be better. Get this letter notarized. Also, obtain the business card of this person.
This way it should work out fine along with the existing documents that you already possess.

1. if you have old work contract get that
2. get pay slips or statement from yearly taxes
3. if you have some formal information about you leaving the company (resignation letter stamped by them).
4. Any objective way to identify your previous job descriptions
And try with that.

Approach someone in the HR dept. or any other dept. who knows you and can provide the same.
OR Why don't you try to meet the Managing Director/CEO and explain him your situation. He might be able to help you out with reference letter.

The November 28, 2016 announcement also says,

"Those who have applied to the Human Capital Priorities Stream must also maintain a CRS score of 400 or above during the processing stage(s) of their OINP application, and during the subsequent federal Express Entry processing stages."

Does this mean, the upcoming 2017 intake will also consider applicants with CRS scores above 400?

Hi Tan09,

From what is written it appears that one cannot let the base CRS score ( before OINP nomination ) to drop below 400 even after you get nominated in which case you get 600 additional points, which only helps to get ITA. Just wanted to be sure. Other colleagues please comment too.

How and where I can check if Ontario PNP is open? I checked on the website but nowhere it says explicitly that they started accepting the applications for PNP under Human capitol stream. Am I looking at wrong place?

MY CRS is 407. I updated my study details but still its not updated to 422 as 15 additional pts for canadian education.
FYI - I have completed 1 year of Post Graduate Diploma in Project management from Canada. Could anyone please help me on this.
When I am checking pts in NEw calculator then its showing 422 as 15 Additional pts for 1 year study.

You need to wait atleast 48 hours for your points to get updated in your EE profile.

What exactly have you mentioned in your education section?? Do you have two or more degrees??
First degree will be your bachelors degree.
Second one should be selected as "One or more year program" as mentioned in the ECA report.
This will give you the exact CRS points for education section.

Btech(4 Years) from IndiaIndia 2007-2011 - ECA Required (Uploaded)
Post Graduate Diploma(1Year) from Canada 2012-2013 - ECA Not Required.
When I updated my canadian education then it asked for duration and DSI stuff. I filled up all info.

Now suggest wht to do brother.

"Two or more degrees" option is no more available since 19th Nov. 2016
How can you select it?
You need to make two separate entries for both qualifications and mention the ECA equivalent for Bachelors degree and the corresponding for other qualification. Once you update the same in your EE profile, you need to wait for max. 48 hours for the points to get updated.

Hi All,
I have one query. My Express entry profile was created on 10th Jan'16. I received my AOR on 22nd Aug and going by latest trend, I don't think that I will receive nomination by 10th Jan. My profile will expire on 11th, so what is a safer option:
1. Create a new profile before 10th jan
2. Wait till 10th and then create my profile.

I do not want to take risk of my profile being expired the day I receive the nomination.
