Hello All,

Good day, I am indeed happy to be part of the community that exists to help in the Canadian immigration process and share knowledge.

I used this thread to file for my application and honestly it has been of great help so far.
But now I am stuck, in a way, waiting for the CSR score to fall below my acquired score so that I automatically qualify.

I want to ask one specific question. FYI, With the grace of God, I got CLB 9 in IELTS - 8,7,7,7. I also have my international MBA with 8 years exp age 32 Indian working in Dubai. Overall my application stands at CRS - 452.
What are the chances my application will be able to get through? Last week the cut-off was 475 and I saw the trend is on those lines in the past quarter. Will I be able to qualify ? In 2016, minimum was 454.
What about PNP program? For Ontario or BC, should i apply separately or will I automatically be through ?
Will appreciate your candid advise and I really need some intelligence from you experts.

Note: I don't know where exactly to ask this question, therefore please pardon me in case I am posting at the wrong place.

Thanks & Regards
Nishad
452 is a very good score. However, the way the rounds have taken place until Oct. 2016, nobody can say whether the scores will drop again to 450 (the lowest CRS cut-off score in 2015) or not in 2016. If IRCC continues inviting 1500+ candidates every round, then the scores may drop to 450.
For Ontario, you need to select "Ontario" as your province of choice in your EE profile. Then once OINP resumes, you will get Notification of Interest(NOI) from them to apply for their program.

They might open anytime in Nov/Dec 2016. Keep visiting their website everyday from today onwards to receive the news from them.

Hi All,

I have recreated my EE profile with a hope of getting a nomination for OINP soon :) . However, I have a question if anyone else has experienced and can answer.

1. My family strength is 3 ( Myself, spouse and a child) as noted in family details during EE profile creation.
2. EE profile has only two tabs ( For me and my accompanying spouse)
3. There is no tab at EE profile for the child!!

Is it true that they do not ask for their passport/details as they do not carry any points for EE profile? Has anyone experienced this and seen this as missing?
And we need to only submit the details when we apply for OINP or CIC at a later stage of nomination.

Thanks a ton in advance.

Regards,
Sahil

As I'm waiting for nomination or any other additional documents call, I've been wondering about what to do in this case:

Getting nomination but EE is expiring. Should I accept the nomination from OINP with the current EE, and then create a new one and inform Ontario?

By the way, is there a guide on documents that are needed after the nomination?

Once you get an ITA, your EE profile gets locked. Then you do not worry about it getting expired.
I hope this helps.

I meant nomination from OINP. What should I do in this case? Good to know that EE gets locked after ITA.

What exactly do you want to know?? If you have received nomination, then just accept it buddy. You will get additional 600 CRS points and then you will get an ITA in the next round....probably tomorrow.

No worries, didn't read it properly. Currently on the move :P

You have sent documents for oinp to approve your nomination. It was i guess interest of letter that you got in February Not the nomination. Now the oinp will evaluate and then they will give you nomination. If that makes any sense. I hope it's helpful somewhat to you

You don't have to be logged into your profile in order to receive a PT NOI.
