Hi All

Need your suggestions and thoughts. We received AOR in June, however the nomination seems to take its own time, post which is another long wait after ITA. This is hampering some of the personal ambitions. Would anyone recommend or advise to go to canada and then have a baby, what would be the advantages or disadvantages of that? If there is a specific thread , kindly direct me there.

Thanks

Hi All,

my BOWP application to extend my work permit got refused and now i am out of status. I wanted to know if I can apply for closed work permit based on my PNP nominee? I dont have an LMIA with me. Is it mandatory to have LMIA to apply for closed work permit?
OR are there any other options to get work permit??? :(

thanks,

If you are out of status and in Canada, you should leave immediately. If you still have time left, apply for a student visa immediately.

can i get a sample job responsibility sheet example for noc 2171?

Its there on the HRDSC website -

http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=2171

If you are in doubt, send your roles and responsibilities to noc@workingincanada.gc.ca and they will tell you if the NOC you have chosen is apt or not.

Well, having a baby is kind of a big decision so you should not base it entirely on your immigration application, IMO. If you wish so, you can have a baby here or you can land there and then have a baby. Either way, this is not going to affect your process much.

1) If you have a baby here, you have to get medicals done and you need to be able to show additional funds for the baby. Your baby will move as a PR along with you.

2) If you have a baby in Canada, s/he'll be a citizen by virtue of birth.
