Hello guys,

Does anybody know if someone got nomination in FSW during last month?
According to statistics in the excel file (OINPspreadsheet), there are no nominations since March'16, only CEC.

Yup - there is something holding back the nominations and I am not very sure what it is. Hopefully, they resume nominations in a couple of months and put an end to our misery.

So, Imsent my application documents in February for OINP and apparently we might get our AOR in august according to some posts in this thread. I did not send my ECA, just the pdf I received from WES. I read that we only request an ECA to be sent directly from WES once we receive AOR. Is this still applicable or is it better if I start to order it now? Given that you can't resubmit documents anymore?

Doesn't matter - You could send it either now or after AOR. You can order the copy now and after you get AOR, send them an e-mail with the file number and the attachment (as proof of having ordered a copy to be directly sent to OINP).

In reference to you reply to "aakash07 on July 08, 2016, 01:37:11 pm", I am trying to understand if OINP is returning applications( with out resending option) for anything that is missing, even if it is a small thing. I have heard of some applicants whose 1-2 passport pages were missing. They got their applications returned, with no re-sending option. I thought OINP returns applications only when something serious is missing.

I am a single candidate and I mentioned in the application that no body will be accompanying to me to Canada under Section H. Family Information and mentioned Family Member 1-6 as N/A. However in Section L, Authorization for Accompanying Spouse/ Common Law Partners/ Dependents' Statements and Authorization, I am not sure if I had written N/A in the Name and Signature areas. I am a bit concerned if there is chance of returning the application (without re-send option) for this reason. I did not take a Photocopy of my application. I might have written N/A but just do not remember. Is this anything that can be done to prevent OINP from considering this as false or misleading information.

Cannot say for sure - they have been inconsistent in this. In the past, many applications were returned because the applicant had placed a soft copy of the ECA report (the PDF instead of the hard copy that is sent by WES). But then, lately, they have issued AORs to applicants who had submitted soft copies.

In the event an application is returned for some reason, can the person re-create the EE profile, get OINP PT and re-apply in Nov 2016 for 2017 OINP nomination?.

It has been 8+ months for me since I submitted my application and 5 + months since I received AOR. I have no clue when they'll issue nominations so I have no clue.

Hi Raj,

With reference to your reply to my message " Reply #1159 on: July 18, 2016, 01:30:30 am »", earlier OINP allowed candidates to send the application package with the missing/incorrect information, as far as I understood from what people wrote in this forum. Now it appears due to high backlog, they are not allowing candidates to re-send the application which is unfair. I shall hope for the best.

Also there are any chances of speeding up of AOR giving process come Feb and March applicants as they stopped issuing PTs after mid- February.

I'm slightly worried now... I sent my documents for OINP back in Dec 2015. I received their acknowledgement (which by their definition means application package is complete and proceeds for assessment) in May 2016 but there has been no progress since then.

Applied under FSWP for NOC 2174. Is there hope?!!

I don't currently live in Ontario or anywhere in Canada. I sent my documents to OINP from outside Canada (in case if that is going to make any difference)

Hi everyone,

It's a bit disheartening to read about how long the timelines are turning out to be and how long the wait has been for some aspirants. What's more worrisome is that some applications are being returned for trivial reasons. Hope things move faster and in a positive direction for all of us!

I have a question regarding the job bank. All those who have applied for OINP from outside Canada - are you guys browsing through the job site regularly? I read somewhere that Ontario authorities might check if applicants are serious about finding a job and staying in their province, and so activity on the job site is important too. Is that true? Anyone have any idea on that?
