OINP - EE - Human Capital Priorities Stream - Comprehensive Guide

Hi Friends,
I created my EE profile in December 2015. My CRS is 448. I received a OINP invitation which i guess had a validity of 45 days.
Now i need to understand if I can still use that invitiation to apply for OINP because somewhere in official documents i read that Ontario will not consider applications from those whose invitation has expired.

Moreover, while i understand that a score above 400 is just a condition and not a certainty to receive OINP nomination, if i close my EE profile and create a new one, will i get a invitation again for the new profile or will they not invite considering that the candidate did not exercise the option last time?

Currently OINP has stopped sending PT NOI for Human Capital Priorities stream. Hopefully, they will resume soon - exact time period not known.
What was the reason you could not send in your application within 45 days after receiving PT NOI in Dec. 2015?

I was anticipating that the CRS score requirements will come down. Even the news reports mentioned the same that the CRS score requirements are expected to come down significantly, i was expecting i might not require to apply to OINP. However, the scores are not coming down since then and i want to apply to OINP now.
Need suggestions if i should create a new profile. I am going to lose 5 age points in May.
Also, what are the expectations of the scores coming down as last three rounds reflect high scores and low invitations issued.

I have send my application for OINP on Feb 21 and it was delivered on Feb 26, When can I expect AOR? Isn't this process taking too long!!

Oh....that was not at all a good decision. Currently, IRCC is inviting only around 1000 per round and so the cutoff score has only increased in the last few draws....it's around 470 CRS points.
Kindly be active on this forum on a daily basis and as soon as you hear about someone receiving PT NOI from Ontario, then kindly recreate your EE profile so that you increase your chances of receiving PT NOI again.

They have only started issuing AORs to December 1 applicants. You can do the math.

Hello All,

i have applied for the Ontario PNP on March 9th. however, i am wondering if i would get any call from Ontario Pnp?. will applicants get a phone call from ONIP after applying for PNP.
could you please suggest on this. Most of my friends who applied have got a phone call from ONIP representative.

Do you mean that you submitted your application on March 9? If yes, then you would receive your AOR somewhere in June and post AOR, you might get an additional document request/verification call before they issue you a nomination.

Hi all,

Is it possible to send supporting documents while we are waiting for AOR?
I have renewed my passport after I sent my application for OINP but I don't know if I have to send the copies of my new passport or should I wait for AOR first?
I hope somebody can help with this!

You can the biographic pages of the new PP via e-mail (ontarionominee@ontario.ca) and request them to update this detail to your file.

I read in one of the thread that your express entry application status should be "active". While in my case (my spouse being the PA), the "Application/Profile status: Open"

is it one of the same thing? I have not received the PT yet. Around 3 Days -

Shall i withdraw the existing one and recreate the profile?

Any one who have got the PT recently after creating the EE profile?

No the application status "Open" is perfect. They resumed issuing past week (a couple of applicants reported this on the forum) and one of them had CLB-9 + in both English and French. You can wait for about a week and if you still don't receive it, you could try re-creating your profile.

Hi all
I got PT notification for OINP and have applied within the stipulated time frame.
Can I change my response in the EE profile under the heading "Provinces Interested In" .
Presently BC, Alberta, ON are selected and I wish to change it to All provinces and territories.
Will it generate new EE profile or just modify in the same EE profile.
Will it affect the OINP application.

I believe you can update this information in your existing EE profile without any repercussions but may I ask why do you want to do this? Any specific reason?

I believe you can expect your AOR in late May or June per the current trend. Yes it is taking a lot of time presumably because of the backlog.

As I see from the guide, the education request is Bachelor at least, however, mine is not bachelor's degree although I have two diplomas. My ECA report shows: Two diplomas (three-year) . In this case, am I eligible to apply to Ontario PNP?

Unfortunately, no. You are not eligible to apply under OINP - Human Capital Priorities Stream because you need to have a Bachelors degree at a bare minimum.

I applied to OlNP in March 2016 with POF in the from of Certificates from Bank. Can I use same certificates after ITA almost in the month of August/ September 2016 or I'll have to get fresh..
