I thought i should put one of my experience here. I had created my express entry profile during December 2015 and received PT with in a week. I have then started collecting the documents and while filling the application i found that the NOC code entered in profile is wrong. When i created the profile i didnt check it properly and put 2175. I realized that it is 2174 and got the reference letters from employers accordingly. But when i updated the profile, i changed it in the occupation code tab but missed it on work experience tab and thereby the profile got inactivated and there was no way to revoke it. I got a reply from CIC saying i have to start a new profile and i did it on january 11th and got the PT on same day.

Hi Guys,
Suppose You have ur EE profile with one NOC like xxxx, But later you decide to change the NOC to yyyy, Is it possible? If yes then how, by creating new profile or by updating the existing one?
And will this change have any negative impact??

Help much appreciated.

Update the EE profile if you haven't receiver either NOI for PN or the ITA from IRCC yet.

So we can change our NOC by updating EE profile ??

Yes. #TWIS

Hi All,

When we create express entry profile somewhere it asks to check the provinces I am interested in.

Is there anyway to check the province names I have checked once my profile is waiting in the pool?

Thanks

Yes, of course. You can log into "My CIC" account and then click on "View submitted application" Once you r there, then click "Application Details" tab.
Here you can see which provinces you have ticked. You can untick or select the appropriate province/s and then submit it again. Hit "Update form" button and then perform additional signature step to confirm the same.
I hope this helps.

Hi Sushsmart15,

Thank you so much! Selected New Bruswick now, as I am having a bad feeling of waiting time for OINP:(

Time to receive one ghost mail now, as I have updated the form :)

Thanks

New Brunswick? Is that any simpler?

Hi Guys,

I created my profile for OINP -Human Capital priorities stream. I have 432 CRS point. I created profile on feb 8th 2016 but its been one month still i havent received any invitation or reply. I know few people who had received invitation for PNP application within a week after they have created profile.

Are there anyone in same boat? who is waiting for invitation for OINP since last one month. Is there draw for OINP invitation like EE invitation.?

I don't think there is any draw for OINP invitations, although there was a time they had technical issues seeing EE profiles with CRS above 400 and they advised people to create new profiles and delete previous ones. I did that and got a PT the next day. However, I have not heard that any one received PT recently so would imagine they have exhausted their allocations for 2015 and have not started for 2016. Having said all of that, I would suggest you create a new profile and watch out for another 2 weeks if you would get a PT.

How recent was the last profile you created? Do they exhaust the number of PT nominations or they exhaust the number of people they actually select and award 600 extra points to?

Thanks

I really wish I had read this thread before doing my application.I got reference letters for every job I've had in the last 10 years when all I needed was one letter from my current job.The application guide states reference letters for all work stated in the application :-[

This is actually not a necessary step if you're interested in NB, but you'll need a connection to New Brunswick or have attended an information session to be qualified to send an expression of interest (EOI):

Hi Bellaluna,

Thanks for the update:(

I think would need to wait for OINP then.

Thanks
