Hi, I have received an notification of interest today in my IRCC account for Ontario PNP.

I want to know if it is for Human Capital stream or for French speaking workers.
The Ontario web site has not been updated yet for this draw, it still says the last draw was on 19 March 2024.

Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream: tech occupations invited
On March 21, 2024, we issued targeted notifications of interest to potential candidates who may qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream.

Tech occupations
Candidates only received a notification if they had a comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score of 468-480 and work experience in the following national occupational classification (NOC) codes.

Your work experience in one of the following NOCs must be listed as your primary NOC in your Express Entry profile:

• NOC 20012 - Computer and information systems managers
• NOC 21211 - Data Scientists
• NOC 21220 - Cybersecurity specialists
• NOC 21221 - Business systems specialists
• NOC 21222 - Information systems specialists
• NOC 21223 - Database analysts and data administrators
• NOC 21230 - Computer systems developers and programmers
• NOC 21231 - Software engineers and designers
• NOC 21232 - Software developers and programmers
• NOC 21233 - Web designers
• NOC 21234 - Web developers and programmers
• NOC 21311 - Computer engineers (except software engineers and designers)
• NOC 22220 - Computer network technicians
• NOC 22221 - User support technicians
• NOC 22222 - Information systems testing technicians

I have received my OINP NOI on Dec 14th. and currently its in assessment phase. Can I travel to home country for couple of months while its in assessment phase?

for OINP HCPS, I have 2 years of CEC and 3 years of foreign from the same organization for which I got an OINP invite , my question is while applying for work history, do we need to show our India country experience letters as well in the detailed format? for last 10 years, I have work experience in the same noc code however I don't have roles and responsibilities written in relieving letters from those organizations. pls suggest

I have received an ONIP NOI under the Human Capital Stream. I would like to inquire about the job offer letter or experience letter required for CEC. Do I need to submit all previous experiences for ONIP, and additionally, do I have to submit a job offer letter from my existing company? Also, do we need to demonstrate one year of secure employment with the existing company? If we don't have to submit these documents right now, then after receiving 600 points, do we need to submit all documents again in Express Entry?

Hello Everyone,
Please I got NOI yesterday, how can one address the following issues.
1. EE profile expires in 7 days. If I create a new profile before submitting the application , do I still need to notify Ontario?
2. My IELTS expires on the 1st of May. Do I need to retake IELTS ? If I submit before May, will that be fine.
3. Passport expires in June, can I apply with the passport and send webform when the new one is ready?

I have quick question about an ONIP under the Human Capital Stream I’m just wondering what to select in employment in Ontario section for specifically this question
Do you have a job offer in Ontario?

No
I do have experienced in Noc for 1 year but currently I’m laid off so not sure what to select (is this count this question for work experience which is main priority to this stream?)
Could anyone please guide me here?

Hello everyone,

We are a couple where my wife is primary in express entry having Canda experience as well foreign, where I have foreign experience and last month I started canadian job, even though i came to canada 6months back but was doing remote job.
We got NOI yesterday from OINP and were filling profile, it asks for Family Documentation where it say if application for spouse Canada Experience, please give refrerence letter and T4, slips and all, since he start a month back only, do we need to provide all this? or any way to handle this?

Can anyone please guide here?

Hello all,

Can you please help with these queries? I hope this will help other people as well, having the same queries I have. I got NOI under HCP - CEC on 21st March. As I am a CEC candidate:

1. Do I need to show POF, as CEC are exempt from this, but OINP requirements say something else?

2. Will only Pay stubs work (first and last month), if the bank statement is not present, as I closed my bank account last year.

3. I have my ECA (2 or more degrees), and completed 2 Ontario College Graduate Certificates as well. I attached my ECA report, but in OINP it is mentioned to attach a Canadian degree. Can I attach my Ontario College Graduate Certificates under certificates, with transcripts and a completion letter?

4. How do I mention self-employment hours? Can we add self-employment information in Other Activities?

5. I checked today only that I entered the wrong date (5 days difference) in my EE profile, is it fine if I change it now and mention the same in the OINP application?

Hi All. I got Noi from OINP HCP. I’m currently working remotely for British Columbia employer from Ontario since one year. There is an option in OINp portal which is Employment in Ontario. It has two questions Do you have job offer in Ontario? And are you working in Ontario . I will select no as job offer in Ontario. But I’m confused if I have to select yes for working in Ontario or no since I’m working from home in Ontario since one year. Can anyone help me what option to select on this ?

i was employed from Jan 1 2018 to April 20, 2022 as a doctor (medical trainee/TMO/residency). this role is required to be for four years.
i took below leaves while in this role:

wedding leave: May 30, 2018 to June 19, 2019 (21 days)

maternity leave: May 31, 2019 to August 28 (90 days)

leaves were unpaid.

as per policy, i compensated this period later to complete my training/residency. this effectively elongated my period from 4 years to around 4 years 3 months.
in EE entry i have claimed my experience for whole period: 4 years and three months. is that okay?

I have a small query while applying for OINP application,
I am LMIA Exempt ICT WP,
In my EE profile, we have not mentioned my spouse exp. since we are not claiming points, he has less than 1 year Canadian exp., though we will declare all in personal history post ITA including his foreign experience
However while filling OINP, it asks for Family Documentation where it say -
(if applicable) for spouse Canada Experience, “please provide reference letter and T4, slips”, since he has less than 1 year exp. in Canada, do we need to provide this documentation? or can we provide LOE or offer letter stating that he has less than 1 year of exp. and not claiming points
Could you please suggest? Do we need to add personal history in OINP as well, do we need to declare Canadian at all?
Where to add Spouse WES since there's no place to upload
For LMIA exempt ICT - what to fill in Arranged employment?

Hi everybody. Asking for a friend.

I got a NOI from Ontario under HCP on March 21st. I have two questions.
1. I read the program requirements and my understanding is if I opt for cec I need to have 1 year of cumulative work experience out of last three years from any occupation code listed in my EE profile. My primary noc is 21232 which is foreign experience and my Canadian experience noc code is 21222. Last three years I work under 21222. Can I go ahead and apply for nomination with my secondary noc which is 21222?

2. Regarding the timeline. I am an ICT and my closed WP expires by the end of Dec. Processing time to secure nomination letter currently is 3 months + 6 months to apply for PR through Express entry. By that time my WP will expire. I understand I cannot apply for a Bridge permit because there is an employer restriction as I am an ICT. What are my options here?

Hello everyone!

I got the NOI under OINP - Human Capital Priorities stream at CRS 473. My highest level of education is 3 years Advanced Diploma (not a bachelor’s degree) from a Canadian college. Am I still eligible to apply?

On my EE profile, I selected the Bachelor's degree or diploma (3 or more years) option since there's no separate option for a 3 year diploma.

It depends on what additional documents oinp asked for.
In my case they asked for proof to show my employment in 2018 was paid..
1. Bank statement
2. ITR
3. Salary slips

I submitted only salary slips because i was working on cash and also I was not filing ITR at that time AND also explained the situation to OINP

HEY WHY THEY ASK FOR BANK STATEMENT IF YOU WERE GETTING PAID IN CASH??? MAKES NO SENSE?
