Will they change the criteria this time? I mean the required CRS score would be raised or lowered. Just wondering as I qualify to receive nomination if the criteria remains the same.

Hello folks,

Its been a while I have applied for Ontario PNP. I have received my NOI in August'15. Sent my documents in September'15. AOR received in December'15. And now I am waiting. Sent few emails to concerned dept, got a reply that your application is being looked upon by our immigration officer. But its almost a year now. Any idea how much time its going to take more?

So in your case your original EE profile has expired, right? What did you do? Created a new one and emailed OINP? Did they acknowledge your email?

Hello Experts,

I am waiting for November, 2016 to restart OINP process. I have score of 451.

I am able to get reference letter from my 2 previous employer, but they didn't mentioned my annual package.
Will it be any issue ?

They do mention job duties etc. matching to my NOC code. (Companies i worked almost 8-9 years ago and since last 6 years working with same company).

anyone has any thought on this ? or please pount out if such discussion already occurred in past.

Package should not be issue if you have roles and responsibilities mentioned the experience letter. You may give the payslips given to you by the previous employers.

Question : If we opt for PNP and send the papers, do we get disqualified from express entry ?
To elaborate, if I get PNP invitation and I submitted papers, and process is underway. Meantime score comes down (dreaming), can I still be eligible to get ITA and apply through this. (i know they will not refund 1500, anyway)

With regard to the above note, I would like to ask you a question. After applying to OINP in March 2016 I had a salary increment in April 2016.
Also my designation changed from Process Engineer to Lead Process Engineer. It is not a promotion but just an organizational requirement. Should I inform OINP about it?. I had just sent a courier and also an email to OINP yesterday about my new Passport. If I have to inform OINP about my salary change then should I wait till they ask for additional document request or send the email anyway?. But considering that I just sent an update yesterday should I wait for a week or two and send this information?.

Yes you are still eligible if the scores lower down but that's the whole game plan they have, that they are reducing the number of invites so that the cutoff is not reduced, else many who have applied for OINP , would get ITA and then the whole OINP processing time is wasted. they wont return the money for sure.

The AOR clearly says that the information sent to OINP should be update, which means all changes related to job responsibilities/salary/position should also be notified. Any way I finished sending the information already.

To summarize: There is no expected lowering of the CRS points for ITA aaaaand there is a huge, almost certain possibility for increasing min. CRS points for OINP? Ain't that just swell. 450, such a magic number.
So they pick randomly from EE? Is there any occupations they prefer? This is like medieval torturing machines but it is online and it's called Express Entry.

Hi All,

Just wanted to know the time line from AOR to nomination. I know that assessment and decision phases have to be cleared. How long would it take from AOR to assessment phase and then from assessment to decision phase. Is it correct that OINP will ask for more documentation in assessment phase if required?.
