I've tried going through your past posts to see what was the additional documents they requested from you, but there are too many

Could you please let me know what was the additional documents they requested to you personally and to other forum members, you might know of (assuming the application package is complete)?

Did they contact you or anyone mentioned in your application? Do you think it's wise to ask them not to contact my current employer, but that they can contact my previous employer?

The documents requested were -

1) Payslips for all months of 2015.
2) Bank Statements showing salary credit for all months of 2015.
3) Updated POF.

This is more or less what everybody gets asked for. They might ask for updated reference letter as well.

No calls till date - Not to me, not to my company and not to the person who issued the letter!

I received my AOR email with two PDF attachments. One of them is Acknowledgement letter and the other is Receipt. I have a few questions in this regard.

1. My file number and case number are : XHSW-16056XX and XHSW-16-1183255XX respectively.

(i) I want to understand if number of AOR from my file number is 56XX going by the last four digits. Did other guys get a file number like this or my file number is totally different.

No your file number is not different. Other have got file numbers like these.

(ii) Since I received of Payment of OINP Processing Fees does it mean that my DD has been en cashed. Will they send a separate email if they have not en cashed it yet and that I need to send it? My acknowledgement letter does not say that my DD has expired. Do I have to write to them to confirm it?.

Yes, if you see the fee receipt, it means that your DD has been cashed.

Yes I got a OINP Processing Fees Receipt for CAD 1500. I feared they would not be en cash it as it was past the expiry date!!!!. Thanks for the clarification.

2. I had renewed my Passport and had submitted a receipt of the same when I sent my OINP application. I shall send all pages of my new passport photocopy to OINP asap. Now do my New Passport details have to be updated on my Express Entry Profile also?.

It is enough if you send the bio pages of your new PP. Also, mention that you are submitting this because you have renewed your PP. Send it via e-mail. Yes, if you see a provision in your EE profile, please update the PP number

I was planning to photocopy all pages of my new passport and courier to them. But is it ok if I send the scanned copies of all pages with the letter explaining the reason via email?. Guess the letter has to be scanned after signing. Is that ok with OINP?.

As to updating my passport details in EE profile, yes I believe there is a provision. Have to check. But then I will have to inform OINP that EE profile is also updated with new PP details right?.

3. I had ordered a ECA report to be sent directly to OINP by WES during my application stage. I had sent the receipt of it with the application. Now should I enquire with OINP if they received it proactively?. Or would they ask if I need to do it via an email?.

No, you need not send anything now.

Wait for additional document request. Do not send anything else now (unless something has changed and you need to update OINP).

I found that I can modify the Passport information that I entered in my EE profile. I thought the EE profile is created based on the old passport number that I entered. I wanted to know if there would be any implications on the original profile if I update the information with my new passport details.

When you receive the AOR, if you have received a RECEIPT then they've cashed in your payment, if not then they will request a new cheque/DD/etc. which you'll need to provide within 30 days.

No! In fact you need to update the profile as soon as you receive the newer docs (it's in the EE terms and conditions)...

Now, if you have already submitted your package to OINP you'll also need to submit the form that updates this new piece of information (new passport) a long with a photocopy of your entire new passport.

However, when I inquired them about my application before receiving the AOR I got this back from them:

Do NOT submit any documentation to this office until you have received a formal acknowledgement letter from PNP advising that your application has been accepted for processing and advising you of your assigned file number.
....

ONIP have telling people not to submit ANYTHING until they've received the AOR with their file number, so if I were you I'd update the passport information on the EE profile and wait for the AOR before submitting this new information. If you want to be extra careful, send them an email with all your process detail (EE profile number, etc.) telling them that you've renewed you passport, attach a scanned version of your new passport and ask them if you should go ahead and submit that via normal mail.. That way you should be covered from them rejecting your package due to an expired passport... I say should as there really is no guarantee that this will have the desired effect, but at least you tried, right?

Yes. Modify this detail on your EE profile and notify OINP too. You will be sending the docs via e-mail and I believe it is sufficient if you submit only the bio pages of your new PP.

After the AOR I believe the correct corse of action is to submit a Change of Personal Information form with the new passport details, no?

I got my AOR on August 22nd 2016. I had in my OINP application that I am renewing my application and that I will submit photocopies of all pages of my new passport once I get it. My old passport is to expire in Dec 2017. I did not 2 years time that OINP wanted and hence the renewal. Yes I need to fill and sign the 016E - Change of Personal Information form that they sent as link in my Acknowledgement Letter. I am not sure if it is ok to email these documents. May be I should courier and email.

I would print and sign the Change of Person Information form, scan that in along with your passport (all pages) and send it to them via email. Ask if they need you to submit the information via courrier, if they do then send it over, but I wouldn't use expensive courrier, instead just use a cheaper but reliable post service, after all if it gets there in 1 day or 2 weeks it won't really make a difference now.
