Hello Good people,
My first NOI got expired and My CRS is 435 and I am thinking whether to go for recreating my profile so that I have a chance to receive my NOI again. I talked with two people who told me that they also had received their NOI but had to withdraw their EE profile and once they have recreated their profile they have received their NOI again .
But my dilemma is that if I recreate my profile now surely I will be under tie breaker disadvantage so would you advice me to wait for the cutoff to go down to 435 which i think is very hard this year or I should be recreating my profile right away now or I should I wait for another month or so before recreating? I am kind of totally confused. If you can give me your valuable suggestion I will be very grateful. Thank you so much : )
Dude for me this situation is a no-brainer, I don't know why it's so confusing to you. Let's look at both scenarios:
A. You recreate your profile. You are now eligible to be considered for OINP's NOI, whenever they decide to issue NOIs again. You are still eligible for direct ITA. Only problem: if by any chance (of all the possible numbers) the ITA cutoff lands exactly at 435, AND a tie-breaker rule is applied, you will miss out on getting an ITA that draw. So what? If it's a regular two-week gap draw, you'll get in the next time. This scenario will only happen if and only if the ITA cutoff lands smack on 435.
B. You don't recreate your profile. You are ineligible for OINP (goodbye, your best hope). Your only chance now remains a direct ITA, and you will still get in if the cutoff lands smack on 435. By when exactly is the ITA cutoff expected to drop to 435?
I don't know about you, but I'll chose option A with my eyes closed.
