Hi All,

My partner and I submitted our application on 15 November 2017 and it is currently in Decision in Progress stage. Our CRS is 415.

We received an ADR on 1 March 2018 asking for various documents. One of the things being requested is proof that the main applicant has the equivalent of a Canadian Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree. We both had our credentials assessed by WES and the main applicants education is the equivalent of a Diploma (three years). I am aware that Ontario requires a degree as a minimum however is there any way, if our score is above 67 (we have relatives in Canada which will help the score), that we would still be nominated?

Please help!

The last OINP search for profiles was on Feb 26, it has been 2 weeks and no new invites have been sent. High hopes for more NOIs this week. I just hope they won't close the OINP portal for some time to clear the backlog of all pending and recently submitted applications.

Hi All,
what advantages does TEFgive for some one who is 35 years and above?
For Ontario French stream, an EE applicant that has a score of 403 after including the TEF and IELTS result but has not received an NOI , what could be the issue.
Must French be first lanaguage?
If yes must the EE profile be completed in the French version or can it be English version?

Besides Quebec and Ontario is French necessary for any other province?
Thanks.

Tef gives you 4 points in order to qualify for 67 threshold . And coming to age factor it does play one the pivotal role . Points to diminish in this case those 4 points from Tef exam as golden . 35 plus to 42 people do have struggle for every point . 440 was the invitation score that is the reason why you have not received . Master degree and 6 plus years of experience in IT , and more or less NOC 2171 2173 . if you want to sustain in any country learning their language is best because that is where you get the best of terms and also you know the value of it and you be the front runner when compared to other people who matched up to you . Simply because you worked hard to not only learned the language but also you have will and gut and the necessary qualifications that makes you the best fit .

Friends, I had a query...

If I get a NOI from Ontario @ CRS 433 and then before submitting my application in the 45 day limit if I lose 5 points because of age, am I still eligible to submit my application to OINP???
Because by losing 5 points I would be out of the CRS range who have been issued NOI.

Can somebody pls help me with this??

I think they look at the NOI date. you can put in a letter of explaination regaring the age change.

Waiting with 441 since December. Want to recreate profile for OINP. I have few questions about OINP. Will really appreciate if someone could help.
- how frequently OINP NOI is given?
- Do they provide NOI to all people above the cut off score or selected NOC occupation holders above the cut off score?
- what's the probability of 441 getting NOI for OINP

Hello guys,

CRS: 365 (NOC 2133)
EE profile created: 23rd June 2017
NOI Received: 29th June 2017
Application submitted: 6th November (missed July submission)
Assessment: 12th December
DIP: 12th Jan 2018
PFL: 12th Feb 2018 (30 days time to reply)
Status now: Awaiting information
I have send the requested PFL documents on 13 Feb at the same email but didn’t receive any acknowledgment . I called them and they told me to send the PFL documents to Ontario-nominee as well, which I did and receive confirmation from them. The status is same till date “Awaiting Information”. :)
Can any one give some advise or have similar things.

Hi,

I am in same situation.

Submitted November and after sending the last final information requested, my status still states awaiting information. I have sent them an email tho.

Fingers cross

No one can answer questions 1 and 3 with any certainty. Regarding question 2, no, not all get the NOI above the cut-off CRS, this is not an ITA.

No one really knows what OINP's criteria for issuing NOI is, whether it's NOC related or not. I guess they pick and choose people that they feel would be able to adjust the best and contribute the most to the state.

At 441, I would think you stand a good chance of getting an NOI, once they start issuing them again. You need to have a profile created after Jan 01, 2018, so you'd probably need to re-create your profile in the EE system. All the best.
