Hi friends

I already submitted my application to OINP. But my passport would be expired in 25 months( 2 year and one month) means it has still 25 months left in expiry date. Do I need to inform OINP about Indian passport rules that they don't renew passport if it has validity more than 12 month.

Should I inform OINP about it?

atleast i think it doesnt matter. They didnt specify anything. typically all countries look for atleast 6 months validity.

How long does it take at this stage??

For me it took a month from the time i applied . After DIP around two weeks.

Got all paperwork ready July 25 2017, but lost that window by about a couple hours since HCP had closed by. Luckily, Ontario reopened HCP opened a new window November 2 2017 and I could use my NOI at the time, since it was under the 6 month validity rule (not applicable anymore).

Hang tight, anyone from my submitted date range should be contacted by OINP anytime. Don't worry.

As for everyone else, I'm pretty aware that IRCC has raised the bar this year, and so has OINP. But don't worry, anyone with a 420+ CRS should stay sharp for opportunities. They WILL pop up. Another great alternative for OINP is to try TEF (that was another path I was working around), since there's no minimum CRS threshold to the French Speaking Stream. Actually, candidates from this stream get processed faster than the HCP ones. I know a brazilian peer who got her French Speaking case processed in 12 days, and she's already NA2 in her Express Entry application (Jan 2018 AOR), so it IS a path very worth trying indeed.

Actually i dont know if it matters but when this window (November) opened I got my nomination and ITA by December it self after applying .

What additional did you do apart from selection of Ontario while creating the express entry profile to get nominated ?

Please be advised that the OINP has commenced issuing NOIs under the HCP stream.

The results of yesterday’s round are as follows:

Number of invitations issued: 511
Date and time of portal search: February 26, 2018 at 2:00PM EST
CRS score range: 441-433
Date Express Entry profile submitted: January 1, 2018 to February 22, 2018

The OINP is managing the volume of applications to the HCP stream at this time. The OINP will be issuing NOIs on a regular basis to applicants, who at minimum, have a CRS of 400 and meet all eligibility criteria.

They are still inviting people whose score is 433 and above, chances that it will drop down to 408 seems very rare. Out of 6600 around 1500 people has already got the invitation with score 433 and above

i did on 26th Jan. Initial was from september and got it last friday.

But what is your crs score?

My score is
L: 6.5
R: 7.5
W:6.5
S:7.5

And I gave my exam on 6 January 2018 and for my results on 5 February for almost a month IDP guys told me that it’s under security checks. And I am not at all satisfied with the score as I was expecting a bit higher score.

I thought if rechecking but I have read on Quora that re-checking can take from one month to 6 months

So I was thinking to reappear

Hi. You should try and max out in IELTS then I am sure you will directly get an ITA. Prepare well and try to achieve minimum L-8.5, R-8, S-7.5, W-7.5 Check & see the difference on the CRS tool of CIC. Good luck!

Hi. I recently created my wife's EE profile last week. She is on 418 CRS currently. But she will lose 10 points on her birthday post end of May. She is NOC 5243 (Fashion Designer). Does anybody thinks she can get lucky with OINP NOI in the next 3 months??

Hi all, I submitted my OINP application in january 2018 and it has been more than 1 month my application is still under "Submitted" status. On the Ontario website, i see they are processing applications submitted between september 2017 and february 2018. but my status is still "submitted". Please, Has anyone submitted his status in 2018 and the status already changed to "assessment" ? Please kindly reply， thanks!

I doubt they will issue 6600 NOIs. This number ,I think, includes PHDs, Master, French, Entrepreneur streams as well. Also on website http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_PROCESSINGTIMES.html it says that 791 nominations are already issued for 2018. So, only 5881 are remaining. Out of 5881, 1800 NOIs have already been sent. We don't know numbers of other streams.

just FYI.. that data is from feb 2nd. they issued more from that date. it will be even more than 791.

NOI will be sent by ON. they approach you. for other PNP if they are open and 2173 is in demand occupation noc. you can apply. if i remember no other province is open for EE skilled workers.
