anyone got the IELTS result today ? of the test on 8/July

why in the world they keep giving 6 or 6.5 in writing, i am again stuck with 6.5 in writing, which i thought was my best exam that day.
this again lands me on crs 382 which would easily have been 427 if i had got 7 in writing

can someone shed the light on this ?

Thankfully to the ICT week, i am able to submit my application to e Portal but still i have many friends who are preparing for IELTS and ask me for tips, so i want to give them the best possible information.

I think BC is doing this on purpose.

My first IELTS:
LRWS: 7 8 7 7

My second IELTS:
LRWS: 8 8.5 6.5 7.5

Tell me how and why on earth i should drop in Writing from 7 to 6.5. All my scores improved in the second attempt except for writing where i lost 0.5.

Anyway i want go for a remark but i am worried about the implication it will have on my OINP application cos i used it for the application. I've heard so many success stories of remark in writing.

If by upper week I didn't hear from OINP, I will fill the "Change of personal information form" and write them to use my first IELTS. I will then apply for a remark of the second result.

I suggest u go for a remark. It will definitely get bumped up to 7 or 7.5. A friend of mine had hers bumped up from 6.5 to 8.

their marking seems so confusing
i mean, i got 8.5 in Listening in which i was totally expecting an 8, as i knew i had at least made 4 mistakes, i have my OINP profile submitted as well (thanks to ICT week) but still its a concern, if anything goes wrong in the future (God Forbid). then this IELTS score would be a problem

i will definitely go for re marking now....Thanks

Also happened to me. Check my signature. On my second attempt, I got higher scores for reading and listening but writing was 6.5 from 7.5. On my third, reading became 7.0 from 9.0 on the second! I was really sure I did well on the reading part on my last exam, but I already had CLB 9 so it does not matter that much anymore.

My Experience was not as bad, I was stuck at the same level and improved with every attempt

1) L-8, R-8.5, S-6.5, W-6.5 -> BC
2) L-8, R-8, S-7, W-6.5 -> IDP
3) L-8, R-8.5, S-7, W-7 - > IDP

I feel IDP gives a fair result in Writing and Speaking ;) But thats only my experience :)

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP

I received nomination with (spouse non accompanying) score 414.
If accompanying score would be 388 (at date of nomination).

NOW I want to change my spouse to be accompanying in my eAPR.
I have now ielts and eca (dated after nomination)of spouse.. and by adding her as accompanying score will Be 406.

Is it ok to add her as accompanying now(score 406)
or they will consider that at date of nomination (score 388) was below 400 if I included her as accompanying from the beginning.?

Or all they care about is that score now is above 400 despite the ielts and eca are dated after nomination.?

Please need expert reply.

Thanks.
Hi,
What was ur decision as regards this? Did u later add ur spouse as accompanying and have u gotten ur PPR?

Hello Friends,

My sibling created a profile, details are mentioned below -

CRS - 388
NOC -2174
July 10, 2017 - EE created.
July 17, 2017 - Modified profile by selecting Ontario as Intended province to live in.

No NOI yet. I would appreciate if somebody could answer following questions of mine -

1. Did anyone with NOC 2174 receive NOI yet?
2. Are NOI's sent every 15 days like EE draw or is it everyday?
3. How many NOI's per occupation?
4. Is there a cap of NOI's per NOC occupation?

Thanks in advance.
As far as I know, they gave out NOIs for Ontario only on the last week of June. Nobody has received since (below 400 I mean), but they could possibly in the future once the CRS score falls low again.

What do you think about writing OINP to use my first attempt to assess my application while i remark the second attempt.
NOTE: I have already applied for OINP using the second attempt so i want to change my information.
With first attempt, CRS is 404
With second attempt, CRS is 412.

All these are with non-accompanying spouse. A remark of d second will give spouse and I atleast 446. The thoughts of traveling without spouse is killing.

please can I write OINP and change my IELTS result?
