I suggest you wait as time taken by MCIIT to issue nominations these days too high and PCC from PSK takes about 3 weeks to get, and when submitting PCC for current country of residence shouldn't be more than 6 months old on the application date.
Thanks, makes sense, will wait.

Hi all!

I have a question in regards to this.

Say, we have a person who is a PR-Ontario nominee, and finds a job working in Ontario. After some years of working, the company is looking to relocate him/her to another province. Should this person decline, and if they were to go ahead and relocate, how would this affect them in future immigration applications (like citizenship, sponsoring spouse, etc.)?

Even though this might be a remote situation, company relocation is still a possibility.

Just wondering about this since I have been relocated to two different places in the span of under 3.5 years with one single company.

Thanks! :)
Shouldn't be a problem... relocation is a fact of life and may happen to anyone. So long as you started to work in Ontario after getting their PNP I think you can relocate with a clean conscience, after all you gave Ontario a shot!

The problem are the people who get nominations for a province by claiming that they will live there and then never do (and perhaps never had the intention to either), they get the PR and move elsewhere. Although technically legal and possible, it's heavily frowned upon as you'd be taking a place of a much needed resource (after all provinces give out nominations not because they are nice but because they need people who meet a certain criteria) and wasting it (going somewhere else where perhaps you're not needed).

Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I agree, some things are just inevitable.

No repercussions at all. As per Canadian law, all citizens including PR holders (remember PRs are future citizens) are free to live and earn a living in any part of the country they wish to.

First of all thank you very much to Rajkamalmohanram....!!!

For all upcoming OINP applicant please see recent OINP update (February 29, 2016) and do accordingly... as I am not allowed to post link yet.. :(

What should one do if the CRS score falls below 400 due to age after submitting the application?
Inform MCIIT about this. They may choose to cancel your NOI.

Hi there,

So the answer to you question is: once you get the PR you'll be expected to move to Ontario.

But to be honest, if you currently live in BC you'll need to be pretty convincing on the Ties to Ontario bit of the application form to convince the MCIIT from Ontario to consider giving you a PNP, because MOST people in your situation, once they get the nomination and subsequently get the PR with the nomination end up never moving... And there is nothing MCIIT can do about it, once you have a PR you can pretty much choose where you want to live and leaving a stable job in BC to try ON is not very wise... Having said that, once you eventually apply for citizenship (if that's your goal) this may come back to haunt you...

Good luck!
Thanks g126

Thank you CanadaWeCome for your prompt reply but I have read somewhere that they usually give exemption if your points falls below 400 due to age but still searching that article.
Can we request them some extra time so we can increase CRS score by taking IELTS exam?
When should we have to inform them about this situation, any idea? Thanks.

As soon as you get the email alert that there is a change in your MyCIC account.

Hello All,

I have spent 70CAD for ordering the ECA to ONTARIO instead of 30 CAD as the portal had some flaws ,Then i made a mail request to the WES stating the problem and my money was reverted back to my credit card account .If anyone of you have also spent more on the ECA copy .Please mail them and you will get the money back .. :)

i have Some basic questions regarding OINP. I would be glad if seniors can answer it.

My sister has created her EE profile with a CRS of 415. Can she apply under OINP right now - is the program accepting applications?

1) Does she require a job offer to apply under OINP?
2) like FSW programs prior to EE , is there is a list of specific occupations under which you should fall. My sisters NOC code is 2171. can she apply?

Thanks

Your sister can only apply to OINP once she receives a notification of interest (PT) from Ontario through her MyCIC account. Since she has CRS of over 400 this should happen shortly! My NOC is 2171 and my CRS is 439, I received the PT a few days after my profile became active.

There is a substantial list of documentation that you need to provide. Go to the OINP website and look at the ONIP program via EE, you should find a link to the PDF guide which will help you! Alternatively, type "oinp application guide" on google and it should be the first link.

I suggest you send them an email and ask for recomputation of refund. That's what I did and received a reply after a few days.
