Guys,
Request your interpretations towards the "tip sheet" mentioned on http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNEW.html as part of 3rd Mar update. The same states (Page 4 of 8):

Any NOIs sent as of February 23, 2017 will be valid for six months for applications to the
HCP stream

Does this mean, anyone whoever received NOI till 23rd Feb will have the validity till 6 months
OR
Anyone whosoever received post 23rd Feb will have the 6 months validity.

Also any confirmation/fact/communication over the opinion will be highly appreciated.

Regards

Help post:

The day before receiving ITA I found there was mistake in my work experience start and end dates. I corrected them and the system showed "Updated" and then there was a draw, where I received ITA. Few days later there is a new message in myCIC account saying "Update not submitted" . So I understand that I got the ITA based on the wrong start and end dates of my job. Is it OK to give explanation of this mistake in LOE (letter of explanation)? Or does it amount to a big mistake for which I should decline ITA? Not sure if the next draw will have scores below 434 though :(.

Seniors, advise please!

It's OK so long as your update would not have lowered you CRS points to below the cut off. So, if you realized that you had put the wrong year down and the system was giving you points for an extra year, AND once corrected your score falls to less than the cut off then you should reject the ITA... If it was just a minor correction to better align the information on the system to your reference letters that would not change your score then you can go ahead and accept the ITA and make the changes, no need for LoE as the system allows you to make corrections before submitting for AOR precisely for this reason, so that everyone can change their profiles and make them as accurate as possible.

Hello Mate,

Can you please advise on the below.

1. When I had created EE profile, I didn't include my family as CRS was coming low (in-spite of adding spouse details), I did my stuff alone.
2. Then I got NOI from Ontario in FSW .
3. Now, can I include my family while filling up ONIP application because if I qualify , I will get more point and they can be easily added in terms of CRS point.( **though EE profile created without family due to CRS coming as low).

Please suggest.

Thanks,

All applicants must score a minimum of 400 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) in IRCC’s Express Entry system. Your score must remain at or above 400 during both the Ontario nomination processing stage and at the federal application for permanent residency processing stage.
If a change in circumstance results in your CRS score falling below 400, it is your responsibility to inform the OINP.

Now, if it was because of your age, they would accept it, but nothing else. That means that if your IELTS expires, you have to get new one where you keep your score above 400.
And specificaly changing status from single/ non accompanying to married / common law / accompanying must not lower your points.
So long story short, you will need language score and ECA from your spouse as well.

So you cannot use that PT NOI if you want to add your spouse as accompanying now, unless you can still proove, that your score will stay above 400 points (except of your age change).

Thank you for the clarification..

Now I do have another question

Lets say, I submit my application to ONIP and I get PNP and then I get ITA. Once I submit my details to PR and get accepted ... that I can ask to consider my family ? is that a possible option?

Please let me know.

Thanks,

I assume that you are married and currently you have put your spouse as not accompanying.
Problem is following. if you get ITA and AOR and after that you decide to add your spouse back as accompanying under impression that they will not recalculate your points, the result might be:
1. They will recalculate your points, since your spouse was there and they will see it as your way to cheat around the system. they can come even that far as to recheck, if you meet conditions with that new calculation with your PNP. Upon that your application can get rejected.
2. Or worst case, they will see it as misinterpretation (which means 5 years ban)

So while your IELTS, TEF or ECA can expire after AOR, when it comes to adding your spouse back, that can trigger rather nasty consequences.

So again, ask your spouse to go for language test and ECA. Or be ready that you will have to go alone and go for the sponsorship later (only way how to walk around 400 points requirement). That will be like another 3+ years after you land there.

when did you receive the PT notification?
what is the change that u need to make on ur profile?
if u recreate the profile ur PT is gone and ull again have to wait for it and no one is sure when will ontario start again..!!
do not delete old profile after notification... !
Hey I recieved in on Feb 24.
In the work history I put 15 hours/week for two years only to satisfy the minimum requirements(However, I don't get any points for that the job just makes me eligible for FSW). In the letter I got from university they issued me a letter showing I have worked 40 hours/week for two years. As I said, this aint gonna change my score at all, the only thing is that I inserted the wrong piece of information in my account.

What you can still do is, to get those documents ready from your spouse, so that you get needed points (or retake IELTS). That way you can use that PT NOI.
Just make sure, to do all those update in one go (adding back your spouse and adding points from your language test and his / her language test and ECA).

Hello folks,
I have received a PT notification from Ontario, Just wondering what would happen if I update a piece of information on my EE profile?
My other solution is to create a new EE profile with the correct information and waiting for the PT notification to be recieved in the new profile. Then I can delete the old profile :D
Let me know what U think?
Thank yall
Congrats. When did you receive it?

Could you please share what exactly did they say about submitting deadline and also when did you get that email?
It would really help, as they put some statement in their website, that is not clear (about 14 days and 6 months validity).
