OINP - EE - Human Capital Priorities Stream - Comprehensive Guide

Hello everyone,

I have a question, is the "French Speaking Skilled Worker Stream" a part of the " Human Capital Priorities Stream" or they are two different programs?

They are both called Human Capital, but one is Human Capital Priorities and the other French Speaking Skilled Worker. So different streams.

Thank you for your reply, I have seen that the Human Capital Priorities stream require at least 400 pts CRS, is this criteria required for French Speaking Skilled Worker too?

No. I have 383 points and I got invited. there is a trick though. You need to put French as a first language to receive the invite. if you are like me better in english you will lose lots of points bit doesn't matter for this stream. All u need to have is french clb 7 on all and English clb 6 on all plus fswp eligibility of course.

Yes I did all that and I got the invitation and the AOR, but in the acknowledgment lettre they said "Candidates in the category Priority based on human capital must also continue to maintain a score of 400 or more points in the overall ranking system", so I'm confused because actually I have 403 points and I planned to get married soon, and I will loose 20 points after marriage, so that's why I'm asking if this criteria is required for French Speaking Skilled Worker

CRS-wise, yes. However, CRS is not the only criteria. Check the first post on the page and understand the other criteria that decide/affect your eligibility.

Like won't they revise the score to 450?

I see you mentioned in AOR. I haven't received AOR yet, so not sure. BUT I'm pretty sure they mean human capital priority stream, or else I'm screwed big time

Oh I see in your text it says priority on human capital. That must be the same thing. French stream is not referee as priority. Whatever that means.

Anyway in the eligibility criteria it doesn't mention anything about the 400 and I got PT letter so Im pretty sure we are OK.

In an AOR of one of our friends it says explicitly the name of the stream:

If you are a candidate through one of the Ontario Express Entry streams, please note
that your Express Entry profile must remain up-to-date throughout all processing stages
of your application. Candidates for the Ontario Human Capital Priorities stream must
also continue to maintain a score of 400 points or above in the Express Entry
Comprehensive Ranking System.
