OINP document upload for ielts test

Do I need to upload scanned copy of original ielts test result paper? I mean can't I just give them TRF number only?
I have valid IELTS result online but somehow british council never sent me a physical paper of the test result. I got an IOA from OINP today and wonder if it's possible only to give them TRF number..
