Suppose one day I get nomination and then get my documents ready for CIC processing. I am the principal applicant, so for my husband, his reference letters for how long should be fine? 5 years or 10 years. Actually we both work outside Canada and his experience doesn't add points to my application. Some said that he needn't provide his reference letters. But I think and I was told somewhere it might be a little bit more secure to provide them. Thank you.

No, he doesn't need to provide reference letters, as his experience will not help or add any scores in your application.

Principal applicant is more important, it's you in your case. Just keep your own documents up to the mark.

Thank you for your reply. But I was required to put his working experience on EE profile. I was told that after ITA, a checklist will be automatically generated based on some forms I fill in, and then there will be "employment records" for my husband. How can I deal with this part if I don't provider his reference letter? Thanks again!

Indefinite. Just like experience letter.

Once it is issued on letter head it becomes a proof for life time.

If it is mandatory then you've to.

Otherwise, don't mention about ur husband's work experience.

I myself have not done it as of now (still waiting for my OINP AOR) but I guess I would put something like "Already specified in Personal History Section".

You can also leave it blank instead of N/A . IRCC is usually not concerned with things that do not affect CRS scores, they just want complete disclosure and that we have already done by mentioning employment details in Personal History section.

I have seen this scenario in one of threads and it is observed that one province do not usually prioritize such applicants but should not be an issue.

In short, you've to prove your candidature very strongly that why you're opting other province than your existing one.
